This space is for you,
To support you in deep rest,
Full body healing,
And nervous system restoration.
I am wishing you sweet dreams and deep rest tonight.
In our session tonight,
We are creating space for the vagus nerve to soften,
For the nervous system to unwind,
And for the body to shift gently into deep rest and regulation.
This practice is here to help you move out of tension and overstimulation and back into a place of calm within yourself.
There's nothing you need to force here.
Nothing you need to achieve.
You can simply allow yourself to be held in this moment.
Begin by getting comfortable,
Allowing the body to settle fully.
Feel the support beneath you the safety of being still.
Let the muscles of the face soften.
Let the shoulders relax away from the ears.
The belly release.
And then gently close down your eyes.
And notice your breath.
Just observe it naturally.
The inhale arriving.
The exhale leaving.
And slowly now,
Begin to deepen the breath.
Inhale gently through the nose.
Feeling the belly.
The ribs,
The chest.
Pause softly at the top.
And exhale through the mouth.
Long,
Slow.
And easy.
And again,
Breathing in calm.
And breathing out tension.
Continuing at your own pace.
Each inhale nourishing the body.
Each exhale.
Calming the nervous system.
Feel the breath massaging the vagus nerve.
Helping the body feel safe enough to let go.
Safe enough to rest.
Allow the body to become heavier.
With every exhale.
The arms soft.
The legs relax.
The whole body supported.
Now gently bring your awareness to your heart center.
That quiet space within you.
Here we invite in your Zen Kalpa.
Your inner intention.
You can ask yourself.
What would feel healing for me tonight?
What does my body most need to receive?
Perhaps it's rest.
Peace.
Safety.
Trust.
Allow the words for your intention to come naturally.
And when it feels clear.
Silently repeat it three times.
Slowly.

And awareness.
Feel your intention spreading gently through the body.
Through the chest.
The belly.
The heart.
A quiet remembering of the calm already within you.

The neck.

Upper arms.
Elbows.

As the gentle stream of Reiki flows through your body.

Notice the movement of the breath.

The breath is simply happening.

Let yourself trust this rhythm of breath.
The body already knows what to do.
As the energy moves now into the hips.

Imagine now.
You are lying deep within a quiet forest.
At dusk.
Surrounded by tall ancient trees.
The air is cool.
Earthy.
And still.
Above you,
Branches sway softly beneath the sky.
And beyond them.
The sky begins to fill with stars.
You can hear the distant sounds of leaves.
Moving gently in the wind.
Saw.
Steady.
Calming.
The scent of pine and earth surrounds you.
Grounding you deeper.
Into this present moment.
Beneath you.
The forest floor.
Feel soft warm supportive.
With every breath.
The body relaxes more deeply.
The forest holds you.
Protecting you.
Welcoming you into stillness.
Notice the awareness behind every sound.
The silence beneath it all.
The trees.
The wind.
Good breath.
All appearing.
Within the same quiet presence.
