Once you're comfortable,

To rest and release any movement and tension.

I'd like to invite you to now with kindness and no judgment,
Please bring awareness to yourself as you see yourself.
Just picture your entire being and notice what feelings start to arise.
Breathe into those feelings and then breathe them out.

I'd like to now invite you to imagine yourself as a collection of layers,
A carefully and beautifully stacked arrangement of all the pieces that you are.
Starting with your topmost layer,
The external.
This is how you imagine people see you,
As who you want people to see you as.
Breathe in this layer and visualize peeling this layer away as you exhale.
Take a moment to think about what's underneath,
What makes up the second layer of you.
Maybe the person you are to your friends or even your family,
What's different or the theme about this layer.
Breathe in this layer and visualize peeling this layer away as you exhale.
Breathe in this layer and as you exhale,
Let it peel away.
Peel away.
The third layer is who you are to yourself.
The innermost you,
Who no one else knows except for you.
This may be a place of vulnerability,
Of uncertainty,
Or of strength and resilience or even creativity.
And that is still to be discovered.
Before you peel this layer away,
Ask yourself,
How can I help this part of myself feel more loved,
Supported,
And appreciated?
As emotions and sensations arise,
Please use your breath as a reminder to acknowledge the positives and release the negatives.
Breathe in this layer and as you exhale,

Take a few moments to reflect that which makes you uniquely you and exhale out anything holding you back.
Breathe in all the layers as they work together and visualize letting go of all the things that you may have of yourself.
