Namaste.
Welcome to a short guided meditation to become calm.
No matter what you're doing or where you are,
Take a few seconds to just stop,
Making yourself absolutely comfortable.
Gently closing your eyes and bringing your awareness to your breath.
I'm going to ask you to inhale in through your nose to the count of four and exhale to the count of six.
We'll take two more breaths like this.
Inhale deeply.
Exhale.
Inhale deeply.
Exhale slowly with control.
Resuming your natural breath.
I'd like you to imagine a white light ascending from the middle of the earth,
Reaching the soles of your feet.
Imagine it spreading like a warm embrace throughout your body,
Reaching up to the crown of your head.
Feel it dissolve into each muscle and fiber within your body.
Visualize this warm white light emanating from the earth,
Spreading up from your toes towards your ankle,
Up the length of your shins,
Calf muscles,
Knees,
And thighs.
Imagine this warm white light of energy melting the stress,
Anxiety,
And tension away from each part of your body.
Allow this energy to continue to move up towards your lower back,
Solar plexus,
Chest,
Up towards your shoulder blades,
Neck,
And face.
Visualize your entire body being immersed in this healing white light so that the tension in your jaw,
Face,
And eyes dissolve into this pure white light of warm energy.
Imagine this warm energy spreading a sense of calm,
Confident,
And relaxed state of being throughout your body.
Please repeat in your mind,
I am a confident,
Loving person.
I am well grounded,
Centered,
And relaxed.
I am at peace.
As you continue to imagine the light emanating from the earth all the way up towards the crown of your head,
Take a few seconds to imagine that this warm white healing energy which has surrounded your body glows as it flows like a protective layer around your body.
Rest your awareness on your entire body,
Visualizing and really feeling it,
Being aware of whether your body feels heavy or light.
Take a deep breath in through your nostrils and gently exhale as slowly and comfortably as you can.
Namaste.
