Namaste.

I'd like to invite you to scan your body noticing any sensations or feelings that might arise without judgment,

Without feeling that they're good or bad,

Right or wrong.

Just allowing them to exist,

Observing them without trying to change them.

Please make yourself absolutely comfortable in your chair.

And just observe how your feet are resting on the floor.

Is the weight equally distributed at the bottom of your feet?

And then bring your awareness to your body,

Making a note of your posture in the chair.

Observe if the weight is placed equally on your sit bones.

Moving the awareness to your abdomen,

Do you notice the rise and fall of your belly as you breathe?

Gently move the awareness up to your chest.

What sensations can you feel around your chest or your heart right now?

Do you feel any sensations around your shoulders?

Notice if they're tensed,

Tight or relaxed and falling away from your ears.

Bring your awareness to your face.

Is the jaw relaxed?

Are your lips pursed together or slightly apart?

Is there a slight smile or frown?

Namaste.
