Hi,
I'm Skyler Liberty Rose.
Welcome to the final meditation in our midlife transition series.
If you've been with me for the previous two sessions,
Thank you for returning to complete this journey.
If you're just joining now,
You're right where you need to be.
Over these three meditations,
We've created space to honor where you've been,
Witness your present moment,
And now we'll focus on setting intentions for your becoming.
This thoughtful progression mirrors the way we can approach life's transitions with presence and purpose.
Taking time between these practices allows the insights and awareness to integrate more deeply.
I hope you felt the benefit of this spaciousness as you've moved through the series.
Today,
We'll build on the foundation of the previous meditations as we look toward your continued becoming with clarity and intention.
Let's begin.
Please settle into a comfortable position that supports both relaxation and awareness.
If it feels right for you,
Gently close your eyes.
Begin by taking a few deep breaths.
Inhale slowly through your nose.
Feeling your breath fill your body with fresh energy.
Exhale completely through your mouth,
Releasing anything that no longer serves you.
Once more,
Inhale fully and exhale completely.
Now bring your awareness to this present moment.
Standing at the threshold of what has been and what is yet to come,
You may now turn to your breath.
Having honored your past journey and witnessed your present reality,
We turn now to setting intentional direction for your continued becoming.
Midlife is not an ending,
But a powerful beginning.
A time when many women discover new depths of purpose,
Authenticity,
And clarity.
The second half of life offers rich opportunities for meaningful contribution,
Creative expression,
And deeper connection,
Both with yourself and with others.
What is stirring within you now?
What longings have perhaps been set aside that are ready to be reclaimed?
What wisdom is asking to be expressed?
What desires are becoming clear?
Inhale,
I listen to my inner wisdom.
Exhale,
I honor what is emerging.
Imagine yourself standing at a threshold,
A doorway between what has been and what is yet to come.
You carry with you all the wisdom,
Strength,
And experience you've gathered over the decades.
And before you lies a path of possibility,
Not yet defined,
But full of potential.
What do you wish to cultivate in this next chapter?
What qualities do you want to embody?
What relationships matter most?
What contributions do you feel called to make?
Take a moment to clarify your intentions for this next phase of becoming.
Not rigid plans or fixed outcomes,
But clear direction that aligns with your deepest values and truths.
Inhale,
I clarify my direction.
Exhale,
I align with my values.
Now,
Imagine taking a deliberate step across that threshold.
Feel the solid ground beneath you as you move with purpose into this next chapter.
You are not starting from scratch.
You are beginning again with the benefit of everything you've learned,
Everything you've become.
As you envision this intentional crossing,
Offer yourself these words.
I step forward with purpose and clarity.
I embrace this time of continued becoming.
I align my choices with my deepest truths.
I move forward with both wisdom and openness.
Know that setting intentions for your becoming isn't about creating rigid expectations,
But about moving deliberately in a direction that feels aligned and meaningful.
There will be surprises and adjustments along the way,
And that's part of the adventure.
What matters is that you approach this next chapter as an active participant in your own unfolding,
Consciously choosing how you wish to live,
Love,
Create,
And contribute.
As we prepare to close this practice,
Begin to deepen your breath.
Gently wiggle your fingers and toes,
Bringing awareness back to your physical body.
Perhaps stretch in any way that feels good.
When you're ready,
Slowly open your eyes,
Reconnecting with the space around you.
Thank you for taking this time to set intentions for your becoming.
This purposeful approach to the transitions of midlife creates space for meaningful growth and authentic expression.
With this meditation,
We complete our three-part journey through honoring your past,
Witnessing your present,
And setting intentions for your future.
These practices are always available to you whenever you face moments of transition or threshold experiences.
I invite you to reflect on any insights or awareness that may have emerged for you throughout this series.
Consider how you might continue to incorporate these practices of honoring,
Witnessing,
And intentional becoming into your daily life.
Thank you so much for joining me for this series.
It has been my privilege to accompany you during these reflections.
I'm sending love and gratitude from my heart to yours.
