Each month the cosmos provides us with an opportunity to reset and create a new beginning. This is a special time to focus our energy, clarify our desire and create an intention for the future. This meditation was created for the New Moon in Pisces. But, you can listen to it anytime you want to visualize and embody a divine intention.

Welcome to this new moon meditation.

When you find a comfortable position and a comfortable place within your body,

Close your eyes and focus on your breath.

Enjoying each inhale and each exhale.

And as you focus on your breath and you tune in to each inhale and each exhale,

Listen,

Really listen for the inner sensations,

The sensations that are within your body.

Becoming curious around what you're feeling and being more aware of what you're feeling.

At a deeper level with each breath.

As you do this,

You may notice the energy of presence within you.

As your awareness increases,

So does your presence within your mind,

Within your heart,

Within your body.

As you notice your sensations,

You may also become more aware of what you're feeling at this moment and what you may be holding onto.

Holding onto that you can dissolve.

Water is a universal solvent.

You may want to feel the divine waters.

Maybe dissolving anything you know that it's time to let go.

Notice how that feels inside.

Taking a few nice deep breaths with the inhale,

Filling up your lungs like a full moon.

And then releasing completely on the exhale,

Emptying out like a new moon.

I like to call this the moon breath.

So that you're really feeling your lungs expand,

Maybe even noticing the light of the oxygen filling up your body.

And when you're ready,

Exhale into a complete release.

Squeezing the air out.

For those that are aware of the mula bandha,

You could really suck your gut in to release.

And just doing that a few times to really acknowledge the fullness and acknowledge the complete release.

Imagining what it's like to breathe up and down your spine.

Opening up to your inner channel,

Noticing what you're noticing as you do.

It's almost opening up the chakras within you as you do.

Noticing where you're feeling different sensations along your spine.

Maybe even noticing the ground beneath you,

The ground at your seat,

The base of your spine.

Grounding your energy in this moment.

Maybe feeling a sense of grounding and lifting at the same time.

Grounding and lengthening at the same time.

So noticing what that feels like,

This sense of rooting and reaching with each breath.

Notice the energy to the left of you and the energy to the right of you.

And then you may notice a sense of sway for some of you as you move to the left and to the right.

Almost noticing the boundaries around your body.

Letting your body sway a little.

Maybe swaying to what you're thinking and feeling inside.

Acting like a pendulum.

A pendulum to your thoughts.

You may also notice what's behind you,

What you're leaving behind.

And you may also notice what's in front of you and what you're moving towards.

Taking this time to explore what area of your life feels highlighted now.

Whatever is coming up for you,

Whatever you're feeling.

And how can you have greater ease and flexibility with this.

Imagining this big vast sea with lights flickering in and out of form.

It's a lot of adaptability,

A lot of change.

And finding that flow within you.

Noticing where you may want or need more creativity in your life.

A greater sense of intuition.

Trusting your intuition more.

Opening up to a greater level of compassion.

Maybe for others,

Or compassion for yourself.

Whatever you're going through at this time.

Finding that reaching and that lengthening even more as you feel into a greater level of divine connection.

Imagining a divine light that exists above your head can breathe into your body.

Filling your body,

Every cell of your being,

With divine light.

Greater connection and greater awareness.

Notice if you're being guided to start something new.

Or are you being guided to work with others?

Is it time to develop a spiritual practice around your finances?

Or is it time to surrender to a greater power or find your own inner power?

Is it time to be more honest with yourself,

To allow words to flow with ease,

To communicate in a new way?

Or is it time to establish a stronger belief system inside yourself so that you can believe in yourself even more?

Is it time for you to tune in to your own emotional needs and what you need to establish a more secure foundation within yourself?

Or is it time to put yourself out there more in your career?

Maybe share your achievements or focus on what you want to achieve next.

Is it time to tap into your creative genius?

Or is it time to be in community and share your gifts with others?

Is it time to retreat?

Take some time for yourself to establish a stronger connection to who you are at this time.

Is it time to establish a daily practice to help you with your day-to-day goals?

Notice what you're leaning into as you think about what you're planting seeds for now.

Notice what you're leaning into as you feel your body into your future with whatever is coming up for you now.

Just taking a few more moments to notice what is manifesting in mind at this time.

For some,

There may be something manifesting.

For others,

Maybe it's just trusting.

Trusting that you'll know when you're noticing whatever you're noticing inside of this space that we're all sharing at this time.

And say a blessing for yourself and your intention,

And a blessing for each one of our intentions.

And maybe taking a moment to cast out a collective intention.

Collective intention for those people in the world who may be needing a little more love and support and compassion at this time.

Noticing the energy within you and the energy all around you.

Even imagining all of us breathing one collective breath.

And coming back into your body with a few nice deep breaths.

Maybe wiggling your fingers,

Wiggling your toes,

And maybe opening your eyes with a smile.
