Today,
We're going to talk about the roots of emotions.
What is making that emotion come up and usually it's fear So if it's anxiety,
I'm nervous,
I'm worried that is fear of not being safe or not being in control because being in control makes me feel safe.
So the weighted.
The antidote to that is to.
.
.
Notice in this moment,
I am safe.
If you're not safe,
Go get safe because that's important.
But most of the time when we're worried about something in the future,
We actually are safe right now.
And not having to do something to become safe.
So Here we are,
And right now,
I am safe.
So once you reiterate that and believe it,
Of course,
Don't lie to yourself.
But honestly,
If you can look around and you can assess,
Yes,
Actually,
I am safe in this moment,
Right now is okay.
There's no need to be focused on that.
And so that worry or fear or anxiety can trickle away.
If it's sad,
Sadness.
Or anger,
These come from feeling like something isn't the way I think it should be,
But the way I think it should be is just a story.
It's just a story that I've created.
That's like,
It's not okay the way it is right now because it's supposed to be like that.
It's supposed to be the way it is right now.
What it is right now is what it is.
So.
In this moment,
Okay,
I can be okay in this moment and take it from here.
I can take it from here.
So I want you to remind yourself,
I can take it from here.
If you're experiencing some kind of an emotion,
You find yourself,
Oh,
I'm telling myself a story of what should be instead of.
Doing whatever is here right now.
Then bring yourself back to the present.
Because there's no need for anxiety,
Worry,
Anger.
Or those things to take us away from peace.
As long as we are present and grounded and know that we're safe and make a choice to Just deal with what is right now.
And it's just much easier.
Allow peace and presence to come back.
When you have moments where There's a struggle with your emotions,
Okay?
Peace and presence is what we're going to come back to.
And that is one way to do that.
