Hello,
Welcome to this meditation.
Let's gently close our eyes and bring your awareness to this moment.
We're just going to leave the past moments of today or the potential future scenarios to come behind.
Letting them go.
Letting them go.
Letting them go.
You're not missing out on anything by staying here.
Right now,
Visualize yourself on top of a tall mountain.
You are well protected from the cold with your winter clothing.
You are sitting on a bench and the view is spectacular.
Planes of trees stretch into the distance beneath as you see the sun beaming down.
Not a cloud in the sky.
The rocks of the mountain shine bright and beautiful flowers grow up between the cracks.
Flowers of all colors.
Blue,
Red,
Purple and yellow.
Life has a way of growing and thriving even in the harshest of environments.
There is no limit to life's growth,
You think to yourself.
As you touch your feet on the mountain,
You feel an incredible support,
An incredible strength.
This mountain has been through the harshest of conditions,
Through thunderstorms,
Through blizzards,
Through heavy winds and yet it stands tall and stronger than ever.
The mountain does nothing only stay,
It allows weather of all conditions.
It's not selective,
Open to the biggest hurricanes imaginable.
You begin to connect with the mountain's energy and you notice a sense of peace and clarity,
A sense of allowing.
There is no sense of aggression or anger with the mountain.
It has an aura of surrender,
Surrendering to its own harsh environment.
This is its strength.
As your energy begins to merge with the mountain,
You look at yourself and your own sensations.
You see many similarities between your own environment and the mountains environment.
Sometimes the hurricanes in your life may come in the shape of stressful life-changing events.
The strong winds blow you,
The rain lashes down on you.
But it's the reaction to these events that allows the mountain to stand so tall and be so strong.
The acceptance and the surrender,
Surrendering to the deep sensations within yourself.
These sensations are absolutely a part of yourself.
You only hurt yourself with resistance.
The mountain does not reject the heavy rain,
It becomes the rain.
As the water lubricates the rocks,
Allowing for the growth of beautiful flowers,
As the heavy winds blow,
The mountain accepts the wind.
Some rocks fall off,
Landslides happen.
The wind carves the mountain,
Shapes it,
Gives it a haircut,
Allows it to be pleasing to the eye.
Good things can come out of scenarios that may look disastrous from the outside.
But destruction always leads to construction in the natural world.
As the mountain and your energy become one,
All of your deepest sensations come to the surface,
No matter what they are.
If you are going through a difficult time in your life,
Or if life is a breeze,
Allow it all to come up inside yourself.
As the mountain allows all weather,
You also do.
These sensations are no different to you,
This is life expressing itself through you.
Remember,
The strength of the mountain is true surrender,
Not true resistance or any sort of willpower.
It's okay for it to be here.
Whatever it is,
Pleasant,
Unpleasant,
Neutral or even nothing at all,
Accept it all as you sit on this strong mountain.
And as you accept,
The seeds of the beautiful flowers on the mountain are planted inside of you.
Allow them to grow.
Remember,
Life grows in the harshest environments possible.
So versatile and strong you are.
As your time comes to an end on top of this mountain,
Take a big deep breath in and breathe out.
Let's just come back to our bodies,
Moving around,
Waking ourselves back up,
Wiggling our fingers and toes.
Remembering that you are the mountain,
Strong and forever standing tall,
Opening our eyes when we are ready.
Thank you for listening.
Have a great day,
Night and week.
