Hello everyone,
Welcome to this short meditation on the art of surrender,
Letting go of control.
Surrendering can be one of the most powerful things you can do.
Letting go of control,
The very thing that can put such a heavy weight on your shoulders.
Let's take this heavy weight off by becoming aware of your body.
Seeing how it's doing today,
Unclenching your muscles,
Legs,
Arms,
Body and head.
We can be so tight in our bodies and in our minds.
For the next while,
Let's loosen up,
Flow and be in this very moment.
Whatever is here in your system,
Notice it,
Surrender to it.
Surrendering to the sensations it offers,
The experience it offers,
The value it delivers.
Anything that is here,
If it's in your mind,
In your leg,
In your chest,
All over your body,
Notice and flow.
From one thing to the next,
Like a light leaf in the wind,
Flowing by fast cars in windy weather,
Not getting stuck,
Flowing.
If you notice nothing,
Be with nothing.
There is nothing wrong with nothing.
Nothing is powerful,
The same as everything is powerful.
Surrender to the experience of nothing.
Surrender to the experience of everything.
Controlling situations and life outcomes can make us feel so tight and stressed.
Lots of pressure.
Surrendering to the inner world trains us to surrender to the outer world.
They are one and the same.
Flowing and letting go,
Surrendering to the now.
Having compassion for yourself in this moment.
Everything that will be is going to be.
Everything that is now is supposed to be here.
Being the leaf and dropping the heavy weight of control off your shoulders.
Now coming back to the world,
Moving your body around.
Surrendering can feel so good.
It's like the life force comes right back into your body when you open up,
Flow and let go.
When you're ready,
Opening your eyes.
Brilliant.
The art of surrender can have such a powerful effect on our lives.
