Are you struggling to cope with change?
Maybe you have moved house or country.
Maybe the passing away of a specific routine,
A specific way of life or a loved one has really upset you.
This meditation is all about bringing familiarity and stability back into your life.
For now,
Just closing your eyes and bringing yourself down into this moment.
Knowing that you can do no wrong throughout this meditation.
Just listening to the sound of my voice and following along.
Just taking a big deep breath in through your nose,
Breathing in peace and breathing out anxiety.
One more,
Breathing in,
Peace in,
Big deep breath out,
Tension releasing.
Now imagining that you are in a peaceful garden.
This garden really enhances your tranquility.
It brings you into a state of zen.
The sun is shining,
Not a cloud in the sky.
Vibrant wildflowers cover the garden as butterflies float around.
The smell of sweet nectar is dancing in the air.
Before you enter this garden,
There is a part of you that is full of fear and that's okay.
Part of your mind might think you are in danger.
It may tense up the body.
Don't be hard on yourself about this.
Many people go through this.
You could argue that it's a natural evolutionary response.
The garden reminds you that you are okay.
You are well.
You are safe.
This garden feels so familiar.
It's like you have been here a thousand times before.
The part of you that is full of fear releases.
The part of you that sees change as this tasteful relaxes.
In the center of the garden,
You see a tall oak tree.
This isn't the regular oak tree.
This tree is a special grounding vessel.
It's what gives this garden its stability.
It's what gives it its familiarness.
Approach the tree and touch it.
Feel its majestic presence.
Feel the grounding energy pulsing through its roots.
This energy flows in through your hands from the tree.
Calming down your nervous system from anxiety to relaxation.
From irritated to soothed.
From stressed to relaxed.
This energy soaks into your body,
Going to your heart,
Healing and soothing.
From here,
It is pumped around your whole body.
This grounding energy flows up through your veins,
Down to your shoulders,
Arms,
Chest,
Back,
Stomach,
Hips,
Legs and feet.
Your body is covered in this vital grounding energy.
So powerful,
So relaxing,
So healing.
You actually already had this familiar energy.
Just at this time,
You are depleted of it.
The change was hard on your system.
You're okay now.
You're full of grounding energy.
Release,
Relax,
Unwind with this grounding energy in this stable garden.
The energy communicates with you.
It says to you,
Everything is going to be okay.
Your mind and body will relax with this change.
I am here to ground you,
To heal you,
To help you cope with this world.
Relax with me.
The universe is with you.
I am with you through this change.
Your mind,
Body and spirit releases,
Letting go,
Surrendering to the vibrant,
Powerful grounding energy.
Now just coming back to this world,
With the grounding energy still very much vibrant inside of your whole body,
Moving your body around.
