Hello everyone,
Welcome to this meditation.
You may have a lot of pain right now in your life,
From injuries,
Health issues or disabilities.
You may be suffering a lot from this pain and struggling to come to terms with it.
This pain may be making you suffer right now.
For now,
Let's find a comfortable space for yourself and close your eyes if you already haven't.
Just know that there is nothing you can do wrong during this meditation.
There is no pressure and there is no right way to listen to this meditation.
Let's just gently listen to the sounds around us,
Noticing the waves washing in and out of your mind,
Cleansing and purifying.
If you can,
Just for now,
Notice this pain that's coming up in your body.
Can you notice the raw sensations it brings?
Maybe it's a stabbing or shooting pain.
Maybe nerves are involved or there is a certain sense of pressure.
Know that this pain is part of yourself.
No different to how at times joy or excitement is part of yourself.
You are this pain.
Resisting this pain is resisting yourself.
Be here with your pain.
It's okay.
Let it be there.
The same as you would excitement,
Pleasure,
Or joy.
Pain is nothing more than a physical sensation.
It's a guide within yourself.
Anything else is just an extension of the pain.
Your thoughts,
Ideas,
And beliefs around the pain are all just extensions that could be adding to your pain.
They are not the physical sensation.
We are here right now with the physical sensation.
That's all.
Maybe you have not felt the fundamental sensation of your pain for a long time.
We are just connecting back to the natural way,
The natural order,
Just the way it is.
The natural order.
Just feeling.
You're here.
Whatever comes up,
No matter what that is,
Just be here for the next few moments.
There is nothing in particular you need to do,
But just notice.
Before we come to an end of this meditation,
Just spending a couple of more moments with your pain.
Not wanting to change it,
Not wanting to add stories to it.
Just being there with it.
Now let's just move our bodies around,
Waking ourselves back up,
And coming back to the earth.
Opening your eyes.
You have been very brave and open-minded throughout this meditation,
So congratulations for that.
