You will learn actionable steps you can take in your everyday life to protect yourself from manipulation and remain in control of who and what enters into your world. Setting boundaries with loved ones, employers, and even social media allows us to step fully into our power as the creator of our lives. It's not always easy to set these boundaries. This 10-day course walks you through step-by-step modules on how you can do this in your life.


Meet your Teacher

Meg is a yoga teacher and mentor, helping to guide you through designing your fullest, dream life. She is passionate about integrating self-care and wellness into everyday life, helping her students prioritize themselves, recognize their worth, and ultimately love themselves deeply and fully. She teaches yoga, meditation, and mindfulness practices both online and in person.

Lesson 1

What Are Boundaries?

In this first session, we will learn what boundaries are and the healthy boundaries explored throughout this course. We will commit to honoring ourselves and protecting our energy by setting healthy boundaries over the next 10 days and throughout our lives.

Lesson 2

Identifying the Areas that Need Boundaries

In this session, we will explore the different areas of our life and which require more or less boundaries. We will look at what feels like it is sucking our energy and what in our life is nourishing our energy. This will allow us to adequately set and communicate our boundaries in those areas.

Lesson 3

Communicating Our Boundaries To Our Loved Ones

One of the hardest part of setting and maintaining boundaries, is the shock it causes for the people in our lives. In this session, we will practice communicating the importance of our boundaries to those that we love. This will allow them to understand and adjust to our boundaries, therefore making it easier for us to maintain them.

Lesson 4

Relationships: Creating Our Own Personal Island With Bridges

In this session, we are diving deep into relationship boundaries. Whether it is friends, partners, or blood relatives, boundaries are vitally important. Today you will receive a clear roadmap for communicating a clear line of what topics you’re willing to discuss, what comments hurt your feelings, and how you would like to be treated emotionally and physically. As humans we need others and our connection to other people enriches the human experience. However, sometimes we forget that our life is ours and no one else's. In this session, we’ll be creating our own island and coming up with a clear set of rules of who is allowed on that island, what they are allowed to bring, and when they can visit.

Lesson 5

Work: Releasing Our Worth From Our Productivity

In this session, we’ll explore how we want work to fit into our lives and what boundaries we can set with either our employer or ourselves (for those self-employed). This session is specifically tailored for our work relationship and teaches us how to advocate for ourselves in the workplace.

Lesson 6

Work: Letting Work Enrich Our Life (Not The Other Way Around)

In this session, we will express gratitude for all the wonderful things our work allows us to do. We will also work on reinforcing boundaries with our work and maintaining those limits in order to give yourself space to live our lives outside of work.

Lesson 7

Media: Setting Health Boundaries with Our Devices

In this session, we dive into physical and mental boundaries from our devices. You’ll learn actionable steps to reduce overstimulation, comparison to others, overwhelm. Let’s give ourselves space and time to live our life offscreen without feeling inadequate or discontent.

Lesson 8

Media: Mindful Consumption and the Rabbit Hole

In this session, we will learn how to use our devices mindfully without getting sucked down rabbit holes and feel our time waste away. You’ll learn to set aside time to be off your phone and social media as well as discover ways where these devices can be really nourishing.

Lesson 9

Reinforcing Boundaries When They Are Crossed

In this session, you’ll learn how to reinforce your boundaries when they are crossed. At the beginning of your journey setting boundaries, they will often be crossed by people who don’t understand or respect them. We will be going through methods of lovingly reinforcing those boundaries.

Lesson 10

Growth: Adjusting Boundaries When Necessary

Your boundaries, just like you, will grow and change. Some of your boundaries will last a long time while others will need to be adjusted as your life changes. You will learn in this session when and how to adjust your boundaries to allow yourself to live your life most fully.
