Welcome.
Go ahead and find a comfortable position,
Either sitting up or laying down on your back.
Set yourself up in a way where you are rid of any distractions and you can relax into stillness.
When you get to where you're going,
Find your breath.
Find your breath as you arrive in your body,
Letting everything else melt away,
Releasing tension from your physical body.
As you enter into your day today,
Notice the thought patterns that you've come in with.
When we enter into situations such as work,
Relationships,
Or even chores with a negative mindset,
Setting the tone for a negative experience.
As you breathe,
Release and let go of any and all expectations you have for today,
Leaving room for gratitude,
Compassion,
And positivity.
Take a nice deep breath in,
Fill up your lungs completely.
On the exhale,
Sigh it all out,
Releasing tension from your body.
In order to protect your energy,
It's important to first become aware of how your energy feels.
Take a moment to scan your body from head to toe,
Evaluating the temperature and cadence of your energy.
Take a few deep,
Intentional breaths,
Inhaling positivity and exhaling negativity.
Now bring your awareness to the crown of your head,
The crown chakra.
Visualize a bright light here,
Full of energy you've cultivated,
Shining brightly from this space.
A bright white light surrounding you as you sit or lay in your space.
Take a moment to visualize and allow this light to build a protective shield around your body.
As this light wraps itself around you,
Recognize that this is a shield,
Not to keep others out but to serve as a reminder that you are in control of what energy you let in,
What boundaries you set,
And what external entities you let penetrate your atmosphere.
You are in control of your power.
Visualize this light becoming very close to your body,
Surrounding your entire self like another layer of skin.
Today,
What energy do you want to let in?
What energy makes you feel nourished,
Uplifted,
Empowered?
Today,
What energy do you want to keep out?
Shame,
Guilt,
Limiting beliefs,
Negative thought patterns.
Give yourself permission today to be in control.
This when energy enters into your space that makes you feel anything other than love for yourself.
Keep this shield up,
Not as a defense against anyone but as a part of you.
A boundary that shows people how they can properly and respectfully interact with you.
As a reminder to not only be in control of your personal power but to remind yourself of the thought patterns that you are prone to.
To keep yourself in check when the details of life make you spiral into self-doubt or negative beliefs about yourself.
You are a force.
Every morning when you wake up,
Be grateful for the power within you.
Protect it with the beautiful gifts that you have been given.
As this meditation comes to an end,
Secure this shield on your physical body and as you move through your day,
Let it do its work.
Take a few more deep breaths here,
Allowing your body to be soft,
Take up space.
Take a nice deep breath in,
Exhale it out.
Remember that this shield serves as protection for your energy and reminds you of the force within.
Allow your eyes to crack open,
Starting to take small movements before returning to your day.
