Lesson 1

What Is Sleep Rebellion?

In this opening session, we’ll explore the idea of Sleep Rebellion—that tug-of-war between craving rest and resisting it. Many of us delay bedtime, scroll past exhaustion, or whisper “just a little more time” to ourselves. This isn’t laziness or brokenness—it’s a signal from within, pointing to unmet needs and a longing for space. Tonight, you’ll begin to notice your own patterns with gentle curiosity, rather than judgment. Through breath and awareness, we’ll start softening the inner resistance and planting the seed for a new relationship with rest—one rooted in rhythm, trust, and compassion.

Lesson 2

The Hidden Needs Beneath Late Nights

Tonight’s lesson invites you to look beneath the surface of your sleep rebellion and meet the part of you that resists rest. Through a guided visualization, you’ll encounter your “inner rebel”—the one who stays up scrolling, gets that second wind at 10 PM, or refuses bedtime in the name of freedom. Instead of judging this part as lazy or broken, you’ll learn to listen with compassion, asking what it truly needs. By building trust with your inner rebel, you ease the tension around bedtime, uncover the unmet needs that drive your resistance, and lay the foundation for a more compassionate relationship with rest. You’ll also learn a simple, practical tool—a gentle “buffer zone” before bed—to help you land softly into sleep.
