I invite you to settle into a comfortable position.
That could be seated on the floor,
Seated on the chair,
Lying down,
Whatever feels like the perfect position is for you in this moment.
Where you can access this meditation therapy for its full benefits.
Just try to make yourself maximally comfortable in this position.
So if you would like to be sitting on a cushion,
That can be more comfortable than sitting directly on the floor or on the chair.
So just make any little adjustments that would help you to be more comfortable.
And begin to bring your awareness to your breath in this moment.
Just noticing with a sense of curiosity,
How your breath is flowing in and out of your body in this moment.
Does it feel expansive?
Maybe it feels a little shallow.
And there's no need for any judgment here.
Just a friendly curiosity.
It's as if you are a scientist collecting data on this moment,
This breath.
What are the nuances of this breath in this moment?
Where do you feel it in your body?
Because each breath is unique.
So there is something unique to learn from each breath if we will pay attention to it.
And each breath also offers a fresh start.
So treating this next inhale like a complete fresh start where you can just arrive right here exactly where you are.
Where you can truly arrive.
Where your to do list doesn't matter here.
Where any of your worries or concerns or ruminations aren't valid.
The only thing that matters is this breath.
Is the rise and fall of your belly.
And you might notice that thoughts arise in your mind anyway.
Maybe when I said the word to do list you started going through it in your mind.
And that's no problem because thoughts are not good or bad.
They just are.
They're just like clouds going by in the sky.
We can watch clouds going by in the sky and it doesn't really matter right?
They're just clouds.
They're not doing anything to harm us.
They're just being clouds.
And it's possible to treat our thoughts just like clouds and just watch them go on by and then return to the anchor of the breath.
The rise and fall of the belly.
Remembering that you are not your thoughts.
You are not the clouds but you are the sky.
You are what stays constant.
The clouds are always shifting and changing.
You remain.
This is that timeless part of you.
The witness.
So as you tune into the rise and fall of your belly from the position of being the sky.
How does that change things?
You can see the clouds below you.
They're not affecting you because you remain steady,
Expansive.
Calm.
Noticing how that affects your body when you become the sky.
Noticing any places where you might be holding on to some stress or tension in your body.
Again,
Not with any sense of judgment but just curiosity,
Collecting more data.
And when you are breathing as the sky.
How does that impact?
The sensations in your body where you are holding on to stress or tension.
Just noticing.
And you can use the exhale to begin to soften some of the stress and tension simply by setting the intention.
You can say in your mind,
Soften.
And then just notice what happens with the exhale.
Soften.
And then just notice.
Back to the rise and fall of the belly.
Breathing with the sky in you.
And you can picture your little bits of stress and tension that might be softening now.
As little bits of honeycomb that are scattered throughout your body.
There might be some in your shoulders,
In your neck,
In your jaw,
In your forehead.
Just noticing could be kind of a playful thing.
Noticing where those little chunks of honeycomb are.
Continuing to feel the rise and fall of your belly.
And beginning to see and feel that there is a big,
Huge,
Brilliant sun that is beginning to rise from behind you and coming up over your head.
And this sun is more huge and brilliant and giving off more heat,
Healing heat,
Than you have ever experienced in your life.
There are millions of little sunbeams sending healing energy down to your entire body.
And you can feel each one of your 50 trillion cells opening up gratefully and accepting this healing,
Warming,
Radiant energy.
Breathing in those sunbeams gratefully.
And you can feel those little chunks of honeycomb beginning to melt.
You can begin to feel them melting,
Melting,
Melting,
Melting,
Maybe going down through your body,
Down through your face,
Down through your neck,
Down through your shoulders,
All the way down your spine,
Warming your whole body from the inside.
Feeling all of this melted honey pouring throughout your body is just more healing medicine that is just warming you from the inside.
Cleansing you along with the radiant sunbeams.
Of any stress or worry or tension or anxiety or guilt or shame,
Just washing it away,
Moving on down your torso,
All the way down to the base of your spine,
Where it gathers.
You become aware of this surface upon which you're sitting.
This point of contact with the supportive surface underneath you.
This point that is completely supporting your whole body without you having to ask for it or without you needing to prove that you're worthy.
This support is just simply here for you whether or not you choose to acknowledge it or recognize that it's even happening.
Just becoming acutely aware of being so supported in this moment,
Not only below you,
But all around you and above you.
The sun is there.
The roof is there.
The walls are there.
The floor,
The earth,
All of these layers of support around you,
Just there to keep you safe and protected.
You can feel all of this healing honey,
Pulling up at the base of your spine.
Increasing this connection with the support below you by seeing and feeling a system of roots growing from the base of your spine as if you are a huge wise oak tree and seeing and feeling these roots growing deeper and wider,
Deeper and deeper into the earth.
Feeling the honey following,
Moving down to the earth through your body,
Feeling your body is this conduit of energy.
Feeling and seeing the roots moving all the way down to the very center of the earth to whatever you find there.
Maybe it's a huge brilliant hunk of crystal.
And seeing and feeling those roots wrapping around and around and around the center of the earth as many times as you need until you feel extra anchored in this moment.
As if gravity gets a little bit heavier.
And you can sink in,
Settle in,
Just as if you are melting into the embrace of a loved and trusted person.
Knowing that you're safe here.
You can let down your defenses.
You can put down the weight that you've been carrying on your shoulders of the burdens of the world of other people of your ancestors.
Here is the time to rejuvenate to rest.
And as you inhale,
You begin to breathe in this healing energy from the center of the earth.
This shimmering sea green light.
This green is a very cleansing color.
But perhaps you feel that you need a different color.
So bringing in whatever it is that you need in this moment.
Feeling and seeing it rising up through your roots and moving all the way up through the base of your spine.
And then meditating and misting out from the base of your spine into your whole body,
Soaking up into those 50 trillion cells that are just open and so grateful to be at the soul spa right now.
Soaking in this beautiful shimmering light that is the exact color that you need.
With each inhale,
Breathing in more and more and more of this healing light.
Feeling it fill up your whole body,
Moving all the way up to the crown of your head.
Cascading out the crown of your head and water falling down filling up this whole bubble of your field.
Filling up this whole space around you,
Going all the way into the bottoms of your feet,
Wrapping you in this warm,
Loving,
Protected,
Safe embrace feeling that effervescent light moving up through the bottoms of your feet and just feeling this energy cycling through you,
Breathing in fresh energy from the center of the earth.
Feeling it move all the way up through your spine,
Up and out the top filling up your whole entire field and feeling how big that is.
Noticing how much space this light is taking up around you and within you,
Seeing if you can even fill up the whole entire room with this light.
This is an exercise and just how much we can spread our light around us.
So breathing in generously so you can take in as much of this medicinal light,
Not only for your own good but for everyone around you because you can feel that it's reaching farther and wider with each inhale.
And on the exhale you can let go of whatever is being shaken loose in the company of this healing light.
You don't even have to know what it is,
No need to attach any story to it but anything that just feels like it's ready to go you can just let it go.
Just simply like you're carrying shopping bags,
And then you can just let go.
You can just decide to do that.
Just like that you can let go and feel the heaviness and whatever is old and no longer helpful to you.
You can feel it just melting down your spine,
Going down into the roots into the earth,
Where it can all be transformed into unconditional love,
Or whatever it is that will truly help you in this moment.
And once it's recycled and upgraded.
You can breathe in on your inhale.
Maybe you find that you're ready for another color right now.
Green is super cleansing and purple is a rejuvenating reviving color that can give you kind of a turbo boost of energy.
So perhaps you want to breathe in some shimmering amethyst light,
Feeling it moving up through your roots,
Up through your spine,
Misting out into your whole body,
Feeling it effervescing in your fingertips,
In the tips of your toes,
Everywhere in between filling you with this joy of life.
This vitality is radiant.
Breathing it all the way and up to the top of your head,
Feeling it water falling out and just light beaming out into the whole room around you just zapping your whole space with this loving,
Vibrant energy with a zest for life.
Feeling yourself grateful and so happy to be alive on this day,
Filled up with the light.
This rejuvenating energy.
This essence of you.
This truth of who you truly are.
Feeling into your heart center.
As you continue to breathe normally just noticing what's happening in the center of your chest.
As you bring your awareness there you might be able to feel your heartbeat.
Maybe you can even hear it.
Maybe not.
And that's totally okay whatever experience you're having.
Just noticing what effect,
What physical sensations you notice as you just bring your awareness to your heart.
It might be getting warmer.
You might feel some tingling or fuzzy sensation,
Just noticing with that sense of curiosity.
And tuning into this place within you that holds all of the answers.
It is always there for you pumping tirelessly day and night to keep you nourished,
To keep you alive,
To live out this sole purpose that you have.
This reason that you're here in this lifetime.
So tuning into this heart and just noticing what's there.
What is on your heart in this moment that would like to be noticed?
That would like to be tended to?
Perhaps that would like some nurturing?
Maybe you can place your hand on your heart in a comforting way.
Just bonding with this deep why as part of yourself.
Letting it know that you're here.
You haven't forgotten.
And that you care.
And just noticing whatever your heart wants to share with you in whatever form that might happen.
That might happen in a symbol,
An image,
A memory,
A physical sensation.
A sense of knowing.
You might even hear it say something to you.
We all receive our messages differently.
So just remaining open to however that communication might be shared.
Asking your heart any questions that you might have if you're looking for guidance in this moment.
What would you have me do?
Deep wise inner teacher of mine.
What should I do in this situation?
And with this,
You've opened the door to communication.
And you can trust that an answer is coming in some form.
If you will remain open and aware and just noticing,
Noticing the synchronicities in your life.
Noticing the physical sensations.
Noticing whatever comes out in your journaling after this.
Beginning to increase the length of your inhale.
In through your nose,
Out through your mouth.
Sighing out gratitude for this inner teacher.
Gratitude for this body.
Deep inhale through the nose.
Sighing it out through the mouth.
One final deep breath in through the nose.
Out through the mouth.
Maybe beginning to wiggle your fingers and your toes.
Maybe rolling out your wrists.
Maybe beginning to wiggle your neck and shoulders.
Any part of your body that wants to move.
I'll ring the bell one more time and as the bell comes to an end you can slowly start to flutter open your eyes.
