Good morning.

Go ahead and get comfortable in your meditation space,

Whether that be a chair,

The ground,

Maybe your bed,

Maybe your standing.

And wherever you find yourself,

Go ahead and reach your arms up and give yourself just a big stretch,

Maybe coming into your day,

Moving the energy around your body.

And then just release your hands back down to your thighs,

Back down by your sides,

And start to move into the subtlety of your inhale and your exhale.

Taking slow conscious breaths,

Setting yourself up to move through this day aware,

Grounded,

And with your best self.

So go ahead and just relax everything.

Feel the shoulders start to melt down,

The back.

Feel your hands getting a bit heavier on your thighs,

Your body is resting heavier on your pad,

Wherever you are.

And settle in.

And this meditation is your perfect day meditation.

And there's a little irony in the name of this because perfect doesn't actually exist.

So I'd like you to bring that intention of just releasing the need to be perfect to each inhale and exhale.

So breathing all of that feeling of needing to strive or needing to make things the way you want them to be.

And breathe all of that out and feel the release of that need to control.

Because it's actually the feeling that we need to be perfect.

We need to prove ourselves.

That causes us a lot of stress.

So again,

A little irony in the name of this,

But allow yourself to relax and let go of this feeling that you have to imagine a perfect day.

That you have to have a perfect day.

And instead move into the place inside of you that knows it just wants to have its best day.

It wants to feel amazing emotions.

It wants to be good to people and it wants good things to happen to him or her.

Go down to that place.

A place of presence.

A place of being with each moment fully.

Not trying to control.

And with each breath see if you can release deeper into that place,

Into your truth.

A perfect day is not about what happens to us.

It's about who we are being in each moment.

And how we are acting as the day comes.

As the situations come to us.

As the people frustrate us.

As all of the many different things that could happen during a day happen.

The core of this and what's going to make it feel like a perfect day at the end is who you are being in it.

So I'd like you to imagine now the energy that you want to bring to this day.

Maybe it's an energy of accepting.

Of peace.

Of love.

Maybe it's an energy of confidence.

Begin to breathe in like this energy is just outside of you.

And you're breathing in this beautiful light in through your nose,

Down through your spine,

Down through your sit bones.

And as you breathe in this energy that you're bringing to your day,

You can feel the light starting to expand into your body.

The energy is starting to expand down into your legs,

Up into your arms.

And just continue to breathe in this light energy of the intention you're bringing to this day,

Who you are being.

Relax deeper.

So allow this light to get larger,

Get brighter.

Allow the energy to feel even more present,

Even more electrified.

And now feel this energy,

This light totally engulfing your entire body.

I'm going to go ahead now and start to move through this day.

So if you can imagine what you'll be doing after you get off of your meditation pillow or chair.

And just start to move through your day with this energy,

With this intention of bringing the love,

Bringing the peace to every situation.

Start to move through maybe what you're going to have for breakfast,

Who you're going to meet this morning after this,

Who you're going to talk to.

Maybe you bring this intention all the way into your car.

Maybe you have a commute.

Maybe you're going to be in a little traffic.

And some people might say that traffic's not great on a perfect day.

But when you're in your peace,

When you're in your loving energy,

Everything is perfect because it's who you're being.

So maybe imagine yourself driving to work and maybe someone cuts you off or you find yourself in traffic.

And just like you're on your meditation cushion,

Take a breath,

Breathe in this light energy and be love in this moment.

Be giving.

Be peaceful.

And your environment will start to reflect that back at you.

See someone letting you get in front of them.

See someone calling with some good news.

And continue to move through this day.

Remember,

Come back and breathe in.

Remember feeling that light energy.

Keep that ball engulfed outside of your body.

And go ahead and continue to move through your day,

Whether you're at work.

What are you working on?

Maybe you work from home.

Who are you emailing with this different intention?

What are you seeing from this new space of mindfulness,

Of peace and calm?

Continue to move through your morning,

Bringing to mind the people,

The places that are going to get to feel this beautiful energy that you're bringing to them.

Moving through your afternoon.

With this intention that we've cultivated,

You might be bringing a not only better day to yourself,

But because you're in this beautiful energy,

You might be bringing a better day to all of the people that your light gets to shine on.

Instead of just making this day great for yourself,

It's actually great for your world.

Deep breath.

Breathe it out.

Continue to breathe in this energy,

Moving now into your evening,

Maybe your drive home.

Maybe you're now with family,

With kids,

A significant other enjoying a meal.

If you get to choose a perfect meal to have,

What are you eating?

Then again,

It almost doesn't matter because if you're in the moment,

If you're feeling this intention that any situation is perfect,

Everyone is beautiful.

It's all love.

As all the sages and yogis say,

It's all love.

And you get to be in that love.

And that is the truth.

Move now through dinner,

Through your evening,

Through night,

And continue to sit in this light,

Never wavering.

It's a continuing peace,

Continuing calm.

Go ahead and find yourself in bed,

Still with this beautiful light.

Continuing to breathe and see yourself falling into a nice,

Deep,

Peaceful sleep,

Knowing that you brought your best self to the day.

It was your intention,

Not the feeling like you need to be perfect,

But the intention to give,

To be present,

To be loving,

And made this day such a beautiful day.

And as you fall asleep,

Now come back to your body in this moment.

You don't want to go back to sleep.

Take a deep breath,

Fill up the belly,

Sigh it out,

Reconnect with your chest,

Reconnect with your arms,

Your legs.

And remember at any moment during today,

If you feel like you're getting off-grounded or away from this energy that you've cultivated this morning,

You can just close your eyes,

Take a deep breath,

And imagine that light again circling your body.

It's been a pleasure guiding you this morning.
