Good morning.

Welcome to your morning meditation.

My name is Lou Redmond and I am grateful that I can be guiding you on this morning.

I like to start out by asking you to just stretch out anything that might be feeling tense,

Maybe roll out your shoulders,

Give them a little back of your neck,

A little massage,

Stretch your arms up.

I start to bring a little more energy into the body and then whenever you feel stretched go ahead and find your meditation space either sitting,

Standing or lying down and make it a place where you can get your spine to sit a little more upright trying to generate a little more energy into the body as we prepare for our day.

And just begin to take a deep breath in filling up the belly,

Breathing up through the chest and on your exhale feeling the shoulders roll down to the back and just repeat that for a couple breaths starting to feel the eyes move back into the head and start to bring your awareness down into your body.

Shoulders melting,

Brow softens as you get settled here this morning,

Settled into your presence.

I'd like to start off this day by acknowledging you,

Really asking you to acknowledge yourself and take just a few moments to recognize that you have to step aside this time this morning for yourself to give yourself the life energy,

To give yourself the self-love and the appreciation that you are really pursuing to live a life full of joy,

Of excitement,

Of love.

And just by taking this time out this morning you are already winning this day because you are showing yourself so much care and what we show to ourselves others will show to us.

As you breathe in this self-love,

This appreciation for the intention to even listen to this,

Even take the time out and meditate,

Just find again that deep breath in through the belly,

Up through the chest and root down a little deeper,

A little more at ease.

And as you take these deep breaths in and out through the nose,

Start to find a sense of gratitude on this beautiful morning for the fact that you're able to take these breaths in.

Feel them start to come through the nostrils,

You can almost feel the air run through the nose and giving yourself this life energy and finding the awareness again at the heart,

Growing in gratitude for the fact that on this morning you get to breathe and you get to live.

And then how beautiful is that?

One more deep breath feeling the expansiveness and the life and the beauty that you are.

We're going to begin to focus on our day at hand and to do this we're simply going to repeat the word one in our minds or if you'd like to do it out loud feel free to do so.

Simply in your mind's eye just bring the word one and just start to repeat it silently or out loud.

One,

One,

One,

One,

One,

One,

One.

If you ever find yourself in need of focus today,

Getting back to your work,

Getting back to whatever it is that takes you away from the task at hand,

Repeating one is a great mantra to get your mind back centered,

Focused.

And now we're going to move forward to the end of your day,

To when you're just getting in bed,

About to pull over the covers and you reflect on the day that you had and you look back and as you imagine yourself tonight I just like to imagine not necessarily what you did but imagine how you feel looking back.

You feel this sense of accomplishment,

You feel this sense of purpose,

You feel the sense of intention just for the fact that you did this this morning.

You feel that yeah things didn't go all your way all the time but you know sitting in your comfortable bed under your sheets you know that it's okay and you showed up and you opened your heart and you worked to make yourself into the best you today and that's all you could do.

So as you imagine yourself in your sheets tonight comfortable and bad,

Bring in that feeling of what this day holds and choose the feeling before you even go through the day because you know that just by being who you are,

Your intention,

That you have already won.

There's nowhere to go because you're here.

Now to bring forth maybe what you would like to have a little more of or feel today as you go through the day.

I'd like you to come back from your sheets into this present moment and simply start to bring a mantra to your mind's eye of what you need to go through this day.

What is calling to you?

I am confident.

I am a vessel for love.

I am open.

I am free.

I am strong.

Whatever affirmation or phrase,

Whatever comes to you,

Just begin to repeat that setting this as your intention as you move forward ready and able to focus,

To appreciate,

To move through this day in the greatness of who you truly are.

Take one more deep breath fully and one more exhale.

And I wish you all the love and the joy and the purpose and the passion and all that you need and all that you are.
