Somewhere private where you won't be disturbed,
And then,
When you feel at ease,
Gently close your eyes.
Begin by grounding yourself.
Take a few deep breaths,
Inhaling slowly and completely.
Exhaling slowly,
Releasing any tension,
Any worries and concerns.
Allow your body to settle into the present moment.
Your nervous system is becoming calmer and calmer.
There is nowhere you need to be,
Nothing for you to do,
Just be in this moment.
Be with your breath.
Your breath brings you a sense of stability,
And allowing your body to relax even more,
And letting go of any anxiety or stress that may still be held there.
Continue to breathe deeply and rhythmically,
Allowing each breath to anchor you in the present moment.
Imagine yourself standing on the bank of a beautiful ancient river.
This is a sacred river,
A place of healing and renewal.
Feel the soft earth beneath your feet,
And the warm gentle breeze caressing your skin.
The air is fresh and clean,
Filled with the subtle scent of wildflowers and damp earth.
As you stand there,
Your bare feet feel the whispers of the soft,
Damp leaves underfoot as the river murmurs quietly beside you.
Look out at the river.
Its waters are clear and shimmering,
Reflecting the sunlight like a thousand tiny diamonds.
The river flows gracefully,
Meandering through a lush landscape.
Notice the gentle ripples on the surface,
The way the water catches the light.
Listen to the soothing sounds of the river,
The soft murmur of the flowing water,
The gentle splash of small fish,
The distant calls of birds.
Allow these sounds to wash over you,
Calming your mind and soothing your soul.
If you find it difficult to visualize,
Just imagine that you are there.
Focus on the sensations of the water,
The sounds of the river,
And the feeling of peace.
This sacred river represents the universe with all its mysteries and possibilities.
Enjoy the feeling of the soft,
Mossy,
Leafy earth beneath your feet,
Grounding you in this moment.
Your bare feet sink gently into the yielding bed of damp,
Soft,
Rustling leaves.
The sun gently warms your skin,
Reminding you of the life-giving energy that surrounds you.
Don't worry if your mind wanders.
Gently bring it back to the sacred river,
And the sound of the water,
And the sound of my voice.
Now,
Bring your awareness to the thought of surrender.
Surrender is not about giving up or losing control.
It's about releasing the need to control everything,
Letting go of the resistance to the natural flow of life.
Very slowly and calmly,
Step down into the river.
You are completely safe in this sacred river,
Floating in the water without any effort.
Feel the cool,
Refreshing water against your skin.
The river embraces you,
Supports you,
Carries you gently along its course.
Surrender to it.
As you float on this beautiful,
Sacred river,
Acknowledge any areas in your life where you are holding on to control too tightly.
Perhaps it's with a relationship,
Worries over your health,
Concerns about your relationship with money or your career,
Or another personal struggle.
Visualize or imagine these areas in your life as tightly clenched fists.
Now,
Very,
Very slowly and gently,
Begin to release the grip of your fists.
Allow your fingers to unfurl.
Allow your hands to open and relax.
Feel the tension drain away as you release the need to control.
Allow the sacred river to wash over your hands,
Cleansing and purifying.
Feel any worries,
Any anxiety being washed away,
Carried downstream with the current.
Surrender to it.
As you float in the river,
Also be aware of any negative thoughts,
Or emotions,
Or stress,
As dark clouds dissolving and transmuting in the clear water.
Let go of any feelings of fight or flight.
You are safe here.
These clear,
Safe,
And sacred waters are carrying away your worries,
Your fears,
And your need to control every outcome.
The river,
The universe,
Is powerful and capable of handling far more than you can imagine.
The river purifies you,
Cleansing you of anything that no longer serves you or supports you.
Surrender to it.
This sacred river is a source of ancient wisdom and healing energy.
Feel the connection to Mother Earth,
To nature,
And to something greater than yourself,
And yet something that is a part of yourself.
Allow the river to fill you with peacefulness,
Quietude,
And a sense of deep connection.
Surrender to it.
Now,
Bring your attention to thoughts of trust.
Trust that the universe has your best interests at heart,
Even when things don't go according to your plan.
As you lie back in these safe and gentle waters,
Allow the river to carry you.
Feel the gentle support of the water as you float,
Surrendering to its buoyancy.
Surrender to it.
Trust that the sacred river will always guide you,
That it will bring you to where you need to be.
You don't need to know the destination.
You only need to trust the journey.
Feel the warmth of the sun on your face and your body.
Feel the gentle rolling current of the river.
Know that the river is carrying you to a place of perfect peace,
A place where you feel completely safe,
Secure,
Loved,
And supported.
Allow yourself to rest in this peaceful space,
Absorbing the healing energy of the river.
You are safe.
You are supported.
You are held by the universe.
Repeat these affirmations silently to yourself.
I surrender to the flow of life.
I trust the universe to guide me.
I release the need to control.
I am safe and supported.
Allow these affirmations to sink deep into your subconscious,
Becoming a part of your inner wisdom.
Your very essence.
As you step out of the sacred,
Ancient river,
Visualize or imagine yourself surrounded by a warm,
Golden light.
You are enveloped in this golden,
Healing light,
Leaving you instantly dry and warmly comforted.
This light is the loving energy of the universe,
Embracing you and guiding you.
Take a deep breath in and out.
Feel the peace and the safety and the security that comes with surrender and trust.
You are always supported.
Always guided.
Always protected.
And always loved by the universe.
Take some time now to express your gratitude for the healing and renewed faith you have received from the sacred river.
Settle into a deep sense of appreciation for this connection.
Thank the river for its gentle guidance and its purifying energy that has taken you to a place of surrender and trust.
By embracing gratitude,
You are sending a clear and loving message to the divine that you are open to receiving more and more blessings.
And this elevates your vibration.
It strengthens your trust in the timing of the universe.
Because you are always divinely guided and protected.
Now,
Slowly bring your awareness back to your body and to this time and space.
Feel the weight of your body on the surface beneath you.
Be aware of any sounds within your surroundings.
Slowly bring movement back into your limbs and your entire body.
Stretch in a way that feels good to you.
And when you are ready,
Gently flutter the eyes open.
Readjusting your seating position if needed.
And still feeling the peace and serenity of the sacred river.
Be aware of that feeling of being refreshed and renewed.
Knowing you are always worthy and deserving of surrendering to the universe and trusting the universe.

Allowing this meditation to settle within you.
