Feeling worthy is such a big subject,
Isn't it?
And every day I feel so honoured to be helping others to really see the value of who they are and that they are always worthy,
No matter what.
So you don't want to be driving or using any kind of machinery while listening to this meditation.
You will get the best from this if you're in a quiet space.
And you can return to this meditation as many times as you like.
You want to send that message to your subconscious and to your nervous system that it's safe for you to accept this new way of thinking.
We embody these beliefs,
These feelings from a very young age.
When I say the word worthy,
Do you feel worthy?
Or do you feel unworthy?
Or maybe you don't feel worthy of much.
Where do you feel this unworthiness in your body?
It might be in your throat,
Like it was for me.
It could be in your heart or your belly.
We want to embody these beliefs because as babies we immediately start absorbing the messages we received and so of course that is absorbed by our nervous system as well as the brain.
And that's why it's so important that we come back to these meditations that help again and again.
It's not just about listening to it once.
You need to keep sending that message to your subconscious.
So finding yourself somewhere quiet and private where you can either lie,
Lie down or sit in your favourite chair and getting yourself really comfortable.
When you're ready,
Gently close your eyes.
Soften the muscles in your face.
Relax your shoulders down away from your ears.
Soften your belly.
It's safe to relax and let go.
It's safe to relax and let go.
Let go of any stress,
Any tension and any anxiety in your mind and in your body.
It's safe for you to relax.
You are safe and you are always divinely guided and protected.
Let your breathing be at peace.
Just observe the gentle in and out of your breath.
You are always safe and divinely guided and protected.
At some stage in our lives,
We have developed the belief that we are not worthy.
That belief affects every area of our lives.
Where do you feel it in your body?
That feeling of unworthiness?
Is it in your belly?
In your hips?
In your legs?
In your hips?
In your heart?
We can let these feelings go.
We can let these beliefs go.
We can learn to love ourselves more and more.
And know our worthiness more and more.
You are worthy.
You are worthy of love.
You are worthy of respect.
You are worthy of success.
You are worthy of an abundance of good things.
You are worthy of having a beautiful life.
And say after me,
Either silently or audibly.
I am worthy.
I am worthy.
I am worthy just because I exist.
This is true for you,
But it's okay if it doesn't feel true just yet.
Accept your feelings.
They are your feelings and they need to be honoured.
But gently remind yourself that you can change these thoughts and these beliefs a little bit at a time.
The more you say,
I am worthy,
The more your subconscious,
Your primitive brain,
The brain that's keeping you safe,
Reminding you that you need to stay small,
Can accept these new beliefs.
It doesn't matter how long it takes.
Just trust that you can know your worthiness.
Feel it in your body.
Your nervous system.
Embody this knowing,
This trust.
Is there still a small voice in your head saying,
How can you be worthy?
You've done that stupid thing.
Or you said that bad thing.
You're no good.
You're a failure.
You'll never be any good at anything.
Look at yourself.
What is that voice saying to you?
Now,
Say to this voice gently,
Thank you for sharing.
Thank you for trying to keep me safe.
Thank you for keeping me small.
But I'm ready to let you go.
I'm ready to know and embody my worthiness.
I am worthy.
I have always been worthy.
I just didn't know it.
I don't need to prove myself to anyone.
I do not need anyone's validation to know that I am worthy.
Whisper it to yourself.
I am worthy.
Every day,
Say to yourself,
I am worthy.
Fire up new neural pathways in your brain.
Fire up new beliefs that are compassionate for you.
That love you.
That accept you just the way you are.
Breathe this into your heart each and every day.
You are worthy.
You are worthy of all that you desire.
You do not have to prove yourself.
You do not have to do anything to achieve that worthiness.
You already are worthy.
You don't have to be small.
Play it small.
Play it small.
You are worthy.
Breathe in that innate worthiness and breathe out any anxiety.
Let go of any tension and feelings of not-enoughness.
Breathe in love.
Breathe out all those beliefs that just do not serve you.
It's safe to let them go.
It's safe for you to know your worthiness.
Breathing in,
I am worthy.
Breathing out any feelings of lack,
Of not being enough,
Or being too much.
You are worthy just the way you are.
Take that in.
Allow that worthiness to sit in your body.
Take this feeling through the rest of your day or evening.
Know that you are worthy just the way you are.
Now,
Slowly,
Very slowly,
Bring your awareness back to your body.
Back to this time and space.
Move your body in any way that feels good.
And when you're ready,
You can gently open your eyes.
I do understand that it's not always easy to know our worthiness because those beliefs that were taken on in childhood have a way of sticking with us,
Or maybe they were from your teenage years,
And then life seems to keep repeating those old stories and patterns.
So we say to ourselves,
There,
I'm not worthy,
Am I?
Because this is what just happened.
I'm not good enough.
But we are able to change those thoughts and beliefs because a belief is just a thought you keep thinking.
That's all it is.
So when those moments come up in your life and you feel that you're not worthy,
Just sit with that feeling.
Don't try to fight it.
But give yourself loads and loads of compassion and then gently remind yourself that you are worthy.
Let's say it again.
I am worthy.
You are worthy of love.
You are worthy of beautiful relationships.
You are worthy of respect.
You are worthy of love and abundance.
Just remind yourself of that and come back to this meditation as many times as you need to to lay down those new neural pathways.
I'd love to hear from you as well,
So drop me a comment,
Tell me how you found this meditation because I'd truly love to know.
Much love to you and thank you for meditating with me today.
