Good morning.
Let us start this morning together.
As you lie in your bed allow yourself to relax some more.
You have time to rest and enjoy the bed covers and the dim light of your bedroom to caress you some more.
Bring your awareness to the sensation of your breathing.
Feel the weight of your body being gently supported.
Now give yourself an inward smile.
Be gentle with love and compassion for yourself.
Smile to yourself.
Bring your attention to all of the sensations in your entire body.
Is there tension,
Heaviness or agitation?
If you can,
Release the tension,
Release the heaviness and release the agitation in your body.
Let go of the tension or worry from the night.
Imagine the heaviness floating away like clouds in the morning sky.
If there is pain or any other discomfort still remaining in the body,
Is there a way you can feel a little better in this moment?
Say to yourself,
May I have ease and lightness of body and mind.
You are wishing yourself well and sending compassion and healing to every cell in your body.
Feel a warmth beginning to glow in your heart center,
A softness,
A gentleness.
Allow this feeling to begin to change the way you think and talk about yourself today.
Feel your open heart joining with others.
Sense the divine love shining through you and everyone on the planet.
As you wake a little more from your slumber to the present moment,
Notice what's around you in your bedroom and be aware of what's outside of your bedroom.
As you lie in this calm atmosphere of your bedroom,
Think about how you want to approach the day ahead.
You may wish to set an intention for the day ahead so you can create a peaceful and mindful start to your day.
I will approach this day with kindness and patience for myself and others.
Gently bring your awareness back to your body in this gentle awakening.
Feel the connection between your body and the bed.
Allow yourself to fully awaken.
When you are ready,
You can open your eyes,
Stretch your body and let us share another smile to start our day.
