It's time for a magic bedtime adventure,

But before we climb into our spaceship,

We need to shake off the extra wiggles from the day.

So wiggle your fingers,

Wiggle your toes,

Shake your arms,

Shake your legs.

Now,

Slow your body down and take a deep breath in and let it out with a big sigh.

I have good news for you.

Your spaceship is ready,

Also known as your bed.

Time to climb in.

Lie back and snuggle into the seat of your magic spaceship.

It wraps around you like a soft,

Cozy cloud.

Let's buckle in,

Arms resting by your sides,

Legs still and comfy.

You pull the invisible seatbelt across.

You are safe and snug.

Take another deep breath in and a long,

Slow breath out.

Now repeat after me,

Either in your mind or out loud,

Using an inside voice.

I am ready to be still and quiet.

I am ready to be still and quiet.

I am ready to be still and quiet.

Now,

Before we take off,

Let's help your whole body relax.

Start with your toes.

Feel a sprinkle of stardust land gently on all 10 toes.

They feel warm and tingly,

Like tiny stars resting on your feet.

The stardust drifts to your feet and ankles,

Making them feel soft and light.

A wave of golden light sweeps up your legs,

Wrapping them in warmth.

Your whole lower body feels comfortable and relaxed and ready for the journey ahead.

Now your belly begins to glow with a soft,

Steady warmth,

Like a tiny sun that's shining from inside of you.

The warmth spreads to your chest and back,

Like a cozy blanket of starlight.

Your arms and hands shimmer with a starry glow.

Your neck and head are resting soft into your pillow,

Wrapped in a gentle,

Golden light.

Your whole body is glowing,

Soft and weightless,

Completely relaxed.

Take one more deep breath in,

And as you breathe out,

Your spaceship lifts off.

You're rising higher and higher,

Floating above your house,

Above your city.

The stars sparkle like tiny diamonds in the sky.

Below,

Earth looks like a giant,

Glowing nightlight.

Everything out here in space is quiet and still.

As you glide through the cosmos,

Something amazing appears ahead.

It looks like a planet that's made out of something pink and soft.

Your spaceship lands gently on this planet.

You step outside.

The air is warm and it smells delicious.

Is it ice cream?

No.

This planet is made of cotton candy.

You take a step onto this squishy,

Fluffy,

Pink ground.

Look around.

What do you see?

This is your time to use your imagination.

This is your planet to explore.

Now it's time to come back home.

You step back into your spaceship,

Snuggling into the soft,

Cozy seat.

With a deep breath in,

And a slow breath out,

Your ship lifts off once more,

Floating towards the Earth.

Drifting down,

Down,

Down,

Through the night sky.

Stars twinkle all around,

Like tiny lanterns lighting your way home.

Below,

You see your city.

Your house.

Everything is peaceful and calm.

Your spaceship glides lower and lower,

Until it lands as soft as a feather in your room.

You are home.

Safe.

Cozy.

So dreamy.

Feel the warmth of your bed around you,

Like you're wrapped in starlight.

Your body is heavy.

Your breathing is slow.

You are ready for sleep now.

Close your eyes and rest.

Float among the stars.

You are full of light.

You are home.

I wish you the sweetest dreams.
