So,
I'll invite you to be comfortable for your attunement.
This is a Reiki Level 1 attunement and if it's available to you,
You might bring your hands together in front of you in the gassho or prayer position.
If that's not available to you for any reason,
It's fine to just bring your attention to focus on a point,
Either to focus on the point in front of your heart space or to focus on one or both hands,
Just to have a point of attention there.
And just setting your intention to receive what you need.
And taking your awareness to the energies around you.
And as the energy starts to work with us,
You might notice that around and within you.
Whatever you do or don't notice is fine.
Aware of the energy within your own energy system and around you.
And just open now to the Reiki energy.
Remembering that intention to receive what you need.
And bringing your awareness to your energy system and particularly that column that exists between the crown of your head and the base of your spine.
Feeling your energies coming into balance.
And now bringing your awareness to the crown of your head.
Just feeling that opening up now.
And now if it's available to you,
You may choose to bring your joined hands together above your head.
If that's not available to you,
You can just bring your attention to the space above your head.
And then you can bring your hands or your intention back down to the place in front of your chest.
And bring your awareness now to your third eye,
This point in the centre of your forehead.
And then bringing your awareness to your hands,
And you may choose to open them up,
One hand resting on top of the other,
Palms upwards.
Or you may just choose to bring your awareness to your hands.
Then bringing your hands together if that's available to you,
And expanding your awareness to your entire energy system,
Feeling the energy moving through your system.
And then centring your awareness in your heart space.
And then expanding your awareness to your entire energy system and to the space around you as well.
Bathing there in the energy for a moment.
And then you may wish to give thanks to Reiki and release your hands down to your lap.
Your attunement is complete and you are permanently connected to Reiki.
