This yin yoga session targets the lung and large intestine meridians, which run through the arms and around the neck, shoulders, and collarbones, and are connected with the emotion of grief. The practice gives you the space to be with your body, feelings, and process as you move through the postures, without the need to analyse or change anything. It encourages a gentle release and smooth flow of energy around the body. It is intended to give you a supportive space to turn inwards as you move through any process of transition or loss. *Please note: This practice is designed to offer a supportive space for grief and loss, but it does not replace professional mental health care.* We practice child's pose, sphinx, thread the needle, cat-cow, half frog, banana asana, reclining twist, and savasana.
