Good morning and welcome to your meditation.
Make sure that you're comfortable and ready to begin.
Close your eyes.
And bring your awareness to your breath.
Follow the natural breath as it flows in and out of the body.
And to begin your meditation,
Now take three long,
Deep,
Conscious breaths in and out.
Continue to follow the breath as it flows into your lungs and back out again.
And now picture yourself in a beautiful,
Safe place in nature.
See yourself surrounded by a beautiful,
Natural environment that contains all of the features that you need to feel safe and secure.
Notice the sky above you.
Notice the earth beneath you.
Notice the plants,
Flowers,
And animals around you.
And as you continue to breathe,
Feel yourself resting into this safe,
Natural place.
Here you are secure.
Here you can just be at peace.
Now bring your awareness to the base of your spine.
Rest the awareness at the base of the spine.
And as you exhale,
See roots growing out of the base of your spine and reaching down into the earth.
With every exhalation,
Watch those roots growing and expanding downwards like the firm roots of a tree.
Each time you exhale,
The roots spread into the earth.
And each time you inhale,
Breathe nourishment from the earth up through your roots,
Into the base of your spine,
And into your body.
Exhale your roots deep into the earth.
Inhale nourishment up the roots and into your body.
Now send your awareness up to the top of your head.
And as you inhale,
See branches and leaves blossoming from your head like the branches and leaves of a tree.
With each inhalation,
The branches expand.
Green leaves shoot out.
Inhale to see the branches and leaves blossoming from your head.
And exhale the light of the sun above you in through your leaves,
Through your branches,
And down into your heart.
Inhale up into the branches and the leaves.
Exhale warm sunlight through the leaves and branches into your heart.
And now send the awareness in both directions at the same time.
Inhale up into your branches and leaves and deep down into your roots.
Exhale warm sunlight travels through the leaves and the branches.
Nourishment travels up the roots to the heart.
Inhale down into the earth and up into the sky.
Exhale back towards the heart.
Each exhalation bringing nourishment from the earth and light from the sun into your body,
Into your heart.
I am safe,
Secure and well.
I calmly flow through life.
I am fully present within my body.
I am fully supported by the earth.
I calmly navigate through life's challenges.
I embrace the simple joy of being alive.
I welcome peace and stillness.
I take time to appreciate all of life's gifts.
I trust that my ideas will steadily manifest.
I effortlessly let go of what doesn't serve me.
I prioritise my health and wellbeing.
I value rest and stillness.
I share my creative gifts for the benefit of all.
I trust in the divine unfolding of life.
I take time to nurture my body,
Mind and spirit.
I am calm,
Confident and secure.
I spread light and joy to others.
I love myself unconditionally.
I welcome this beautiful new day.
And before you complete your meditation,
Just take a moment now to acknowledge that you'll be carrying this calm steadiness with you out into your day today.
Know that you'll steadily flow through life with the peaceful stability of a tree.
See yourself steadily moving through your day.
Approaching anything that you need to do with calmness and stability.
See yourself flowing through today knowing that you're supported by the earth.
That you are always safe and held.
And see yourself carrying the light that has filled your heart into every situation.
Every conversation.
Every moment of today.
And now slowly begin to turn your awareness back outward.
Feel the feeling of your body resting into the surface beneath you.
And begin to make some small movements.
Moving the fingers and the toes.
The hands and the feet.
And if it feels good for you,
Give yourself a long stretch.
And when you're ready,
Slowly open your eyes to return to your day.
