This is a lovely way to quickly reset your nervous system when you feel on-edge or triggered. It also is of great support when you feel lethargic or tired and need a positive and measured boost of energy. You can complete this breath practice standing or seated.

All right,

Everyone,

Today we're going to do a really quick breath practice that is going to activate your nervous system in a beautiful,

Healthy,

And balanced way,

Creating an energized,

Calm state.

So this is good if you just feel a little on edge or triggered by something,

And it's also good when you feel lethargic and you need that positive just shot of energy.

Okay,

So this will only take about two minutes,

And you can stand,

You can sit,

No matter where you're at,

Just make sure that your spine is nice and tall.

And we're going to take a nice deep inhale through the nose,

Filling the lungs all the way to the top so that you fill it all the way up to the collarbone,

And then exhale through the mouth with an H-A,

Ha.

So it's like you're fogging a mirror.

And repeat this 10 times.

Inhale through your nose,

See if you can pull in a little bit more air,

Exhale,

Release from the lower belly,

Ha.

Inhale,

Exhale with that H-A forcefully,

Ha.

Inhale,

Exhale,

Ha.

Inhale,

Exhale,

Ha.

Inhale,

Exhale,

Ha.

Inhale,

Exhale,

Ha.

Inhale,

Exhale.

Keep going,

And each time imagine you're pushing out any stuck,

Heavy,

Or stagnant energy.

Inhale,

Exhale.

Inhale,

Exhale,

Let it all go.

And on the last round,

Inhale deep,

Deep,

Deep.

Hold for a few seconds,

And then exhale slowly,

Like you're whistling out the air.

Now allow your breath to go back to its normal cadence,

And just notice what you feel in the body.

Allow a gentle smile to cross your face and go on about your day.

I hope you enjoyed that.

Please know you can repeat it as often as needed.

Wishing you all good things.
