My name is Jen.
Today's meditation is all about cultivating and moving positive energy throughout the body.
This practice will allow us to find a place of calibration and a strong foundation in our bodies from which we can move throughout our day and address any challenges and enjoy any successes with complete presence.
So please find a nice comfortable position for you.
No need to overthink,
Just make sure that you're completely comfortable.
Ideally your spine is straight,
Whether you're lying down or seated.
You're able to close your eyes and just bring your awareness to the body,
Dropping all energy down to this area just below the navel point.
Target your breath to this area as you deepen the breath.
Keep it soft.
Don't worry about forcing anything or breathing to your maximum capacity.
Just long,
Steady,
Slow breathing into the belly.
And as you breathe here to this core of your energy,
Your energy center,
I invite you to imagine a light flickering here in the lower belly.
Breathe into this light and allow it to expand.
Feeling a softness throughout the body,
Feeling the shoulders sink down,
The legs and arms to be heavy as your breath is deep,
Lighting up the center of you.
Keeping the breath deep,
Bring your focus up to the heart space.
Imagine a light here,
Starting as a little flicker,
Feeling into the energy of the heart.
Breath is soft,
Steady and deep and we're dropping down into the heart,
Our place of true knowledge,
True connection.
Maintaining this light at the lower belly and at the heart,
Bring your attention to the third eye area,
Just between and above the brow point.
Bring your internal gaze to this point and imagine a tiny light,
Slowly expanding with each breath,
Connecting to your intuition,
Your self-trust.
Now feel all three centers of energy at the lower belly,
The heart and the third eye lighting up.
Feel the balance of these energies.
Continuing to breathe,
I invite you to begin to move this energy throughout the body,
Beginning at the lower belly.
Allow this energy,
This light to move up the front of the body,
Past the navel point,
Connecting to the light at the heart,
Moving up over the face,
Connecting to the light of the third eye,
Pulling this energy up to the crown and down the back body,
Down the spine,
All the way into the earth.
Moving up the front body,
The fronts of the legs,
The belly,
The chest,
The neck,
The face,
The crown and shooting down,
All the way down the spine,
Down the backs of the legs into the earth.
Continuing with this visualization,
Feeling the energy moving up the front body,
Down the back body and allow the energy to expand beyond the body so you feel it moving around,
Around the space you occupy,
Beyond where your body ends,
Connecting to the energy around you.
Feel this energy being absorbed into all the parts of you that need it,
All the parts that feel stuck or stagnant.
Infuse them with this energy,
With this light and as you feel the energy continue to move,
Allow a gentle smile to cross your face,
Feeling the cheeks lift,
Smiling to this energy,
Connecting to the positive charge.
As this energy expands out,
Imagine it filling the room that you occupy,
Imagine it expanding out even further to the home or house or office,
To the building and beyond,
Connecting in every direction,
Connecting to your world,
Connecting to your world,
Feeling supported.
Now slowly bring your attention back to the body,
Focusing on the big toes,
Find a little movement in the big toe,
A little movement in the thumb of each hand,
Allow that smile to spread across your face and gently open your eyes,
Taking in the light of the room,
Feeling this positive energy continue to course through you and around you,
Connecting to it as you move forward throughout your day or evening.
