David Harrison

With unique explorative secular meditation and mindfulness practices, David explores the inner art of using mind, to change brain, to change mind. He teaches with Mind Springs Practice Space and after years of further study, David was awarded his third Masters Degree, this time in Meditation and Mindfulness after 3 years of formal study and practice. He is also an accredited U.K. Mindfulness Association Teacher. He is now researching and writing his Doctoral Degree (PhD): Metaphysics and Meditation whilst living in the Lake District, UK. Living in the Lakes, he can often be found all year round enjoying another lifelong passion: long distance open water swimming in a nearby lake. This passion allowed David to travel widely in the world as a guide in wild water swimming, where he taught swimming as a form of physical meditation and swimming as a metaphor for how you live life. This, and a life lived, informs his lyrical teaching style, often combining poetry, science and contemplative exploration into each unique practice. If you wish to know more or ask a question, please contact him or find him at fundamentalmind dot com webpage and also on facebook and Patreon dot com/FundamentalMind. Meditation never ends, David.

Incredible. Beautiful insights...awareness arising and falling , furling and unfurling. I adore the concept that our meditation doesn't end, but we simply continue to witness and we move through life. Still Life. Beautiful, very much appreciate this. Thank you 😊 Namaste ✨️ 🙏🏼

My kind of meditation. I appreciate the space to let things flow. Good preparation for a silent retreat. I will attempt to take listening, stillness and silence into my day. Thank you David.

A bit of a challenge, my first meditation of this length and then with no sound. But it was very bautiful. I sat on my bed, looking out of the window at the soft snow falling down onto the street and sidewalk... very beautiful.
