In this guided visualisation we will use the imagery of a tree to connect to our internal nervous system. Starting with a seed in the root chakra, the pelvic area, the breath is used to calm and nourish this starting point of the central and governing meridians which are the yin and yang meridians connected to the nervous system. As the seed germinates we work with its roots (fascia) moving down the legs. Then we continue up the trunk of the tree (central nervous system) all the while continuing to nourish and balance this system with the breath. The branches of the arms talk to our somatic system while the brain experiences a ripple of fluttering foliage. The sunlight shines through our crown, nourishing the nerve endings with a warm glow, from the top down. Allow yourself a few minutes of integration following this experience.
