Welcome to this transmission,
The Greatness of Small Achievements.
Connecting to hexagram 62 of the I Ching's wisdom.
I hope you are relaxed and comfortable.
Ready to receive this teaching and also ready to receive your own internal guidance.
Do what you need to,
To readjust.
And make space,
Make space for this moment,
Bringing the self into presence.
As you slow down the breath.
Quieten the mind.
And open your heart.
We're going to start by setting an intention.
Please connect to your heart center as we do this.
And you can join me in saying this aloud or.
.
.
Quietly and internally.
I trust the wisdom I am receiving from this ancient teaching.
Along with my own inner garden.
This is all aligned with my highest good.
And for the greater good of all.
Please breathe in I trust.
Exhale.
Trusting that you will receive exactly what you need to.
So just as the title indicates,
The message.
From this transmission.
Is about trusting.
The greatness in small things.
In those ordinary experiences and those everyday tasks.
At this time.
In this cycle we are asked to not act on spontaneity.
Not reach for the skies,
Create something grand or even something new.
We are even cautioned about thinking of the future and to rather stick to focusing on this present moment.
If we look at the imagery of this hexagram where we have two Yin lines at the bottom and the top.
To yang lines in the middle.
This symbolizes the wings of a bird folding in as the bird now descends from the sky onto a branch.
Close to its nest,
Close to what it knows.
By being persistent.
With the exceedingly small.
By being careful with it.
It is through this practice that we will be able to open the great way.
And eventually know the true path forward.
A time like this is asking for sincerity.
Perhaps even for inner self-restraint.
And if you apply these messages to your life right now.
What are the first dots that connect for you?
And notice your emotional response to that.
Can you be comfortable?
And keeping everything simple.
And straightforward at the moment.
How can you pay more attention to detail?
Where can you say yes more?
And where can you be more adaptable?
We are cautioned at this time to beware.
Of anything out of the ordinary.
And practice being courteous,
Sincere.
And full of care.
For yourself.
Forever.
And for all the little tasks you undertake.
Words from the I Ching say,
This is a time for you to modestly rein in your ambitions and efforts.
And put them on hold.
Only when appropriate circumstances present themselves should you look to humbly progress a little way along the path to your goal.
You are not abandoning the correct and true path though.
You will remain committed to the perfection of honesty and sincerity.
But you will proceed by more humble directions towards that worthy goal.
Persist in this new path of small achievements,
In the correct spirit of humility and virtue,
And you will gain noteworthy success.
These small changes that you modestly embark on.
Will accrue disproportionately great rewards.
Take a moment to allow everything to settle for you.
The words from the I Ching and your own responses.
What images come to mind?
And what thoughts and feelings?
Do you connect with as being part of this experience for you?
And finally,
What is your takeaway message?
What are you going to hold close to your heart?
As you walk through these next days and weeks.
Of humility and ordinariness.
Now let's take a moment to give thanks.
Thanks for the wisdom you received internally.
Give thanks as well to the wisdom from the I Ching.
And trust.
That all is taking place just as it needs to.
If you would like to work with more layers to this teaching.
It does work in tandem with hexagram 61.
Which you can find in the Eaching playlist at the bottom of my profile page.
Wishing you well through this time of small achievements.
As together we trust.
The ground beneath our feet.
And perhaps a slower pace of life.
