Hello,
And thank you for taking this time to reflect on just how your day went.
My name is Stone,
And I'm going to offer you just a few tools to get some perspective about today.
So take out your journal,
Your planner,
Open the computer file,
Wherever you want to note how today has gone.
If you haven't already,
Make a note of the day and perhaps the time that you make this reflection.
Ask yourself,
What's the best thing that happened today?
What was the highlight?
It might not be the most dramatic.
It might be something quiet or incidental,
But you know what was the best thing about today?
Now,
List two people that you appreciated today.
It might be someone you interacted with.
It might be a memory or a lesson you gained from a relationship that turned up in whatever was going on today.
Who are the two people you appreciated today?
And now list three things that you're grateful for,
Three things today that were good.
Again,
It might be something small like a cup of coffee.
It might be something enormous,
But if you found gratitude today,
Take a moment to note that for yourself.
All right.
Now,
Think back over your day.
How'd you do?
What do you think of how you personally did today?
What went well?
What needs love?
How did you treat others?
How did you treat yourself?
How do you feel you did as a person?
What could you change?
What do you want to remember as a great moment in the story of you?
And finally,
Is there anything else you want to remember about today?
Small things,
Big things.
I'll leave you here,
But take as long as you like to note what else there is to remember about today.
