Welcome to another stress fit meditation.

The breath can be used to help manage pain,

Enhance mental concentration,

Reduce stress,

Improve athletic performance and control emotions.

When the body is in harmony,

The heart,

Lungs,

Hormones,

Chemicals and gut are all in sync,

Working in conjunction to maintain the overall health of our bodies.

Learning how to breathe more effectively is the key to better health and vitality.

Lacking connection with our breath can lead to a scattered mind.

The breath is the key to create harmony between our mind and body.

When we are not in tune with our breath,

We are too consumed by our minds.

Let's face it,

The mind is way too noisy and this is why we need to come downstairs through our breath and into our heart zone,

The home of tranquility and serenity.

Your intention for this meditation is to enjoy each breath throughout this practice with all of your being.

Your breath will connect you to your body's wisdom.

Just by paying attention to the breath,

You create space.

Only when there is space do we allow more creative energies to be expressed.

A wise woman once said,

Sometimes all you need to do is breathe and have faith that everything will work out for the best.

Find a comfortable position for this meditation.

Maintain a nice straight back,

Hands on your knees or palms facing up if you wish to lay down for this practice.

Gently close your eyes and your mouth.

Let's start by taking in a long,

Slow,

Deep breath and gently letting that go.

Breathing in through the nose,

Breathing out through the nose.

Allow your body to relax.

Don't worry about your thoughts.

Just be with your breath.

Breathing in through the nose,

Breathing out through the nose.

Unshackle your mind from the past,

Let go of the future and just enter the present moment which is pure and peaceful.

Feel your body soften,

Feel your mind relax.

Allow all your thoughts to move right through you.

Thoughts are like clouds,

Let them appear and disappear as you follow your breath in and out.

As you exhale,

Feel yourself let go of all the weight you have carried into this moment.

Breathing in through the nose,

Breathing out through the nose.

Just letting go,

Feel yourself getting lighter.

Breathing in the essence of love,

Breathing out the heaviness that weighs over you.

With each exhale,

Just let go a little more.

With each exhale,

Just let go a little more.

Too often we are consumed by our minds and we lose awareness of the present moment.

We lose connection with our divine being.

Our minds can feel cloudy and our emotions overwhelmed.

But as soon as we connect back with our breath,

By taking in long,

Slow,

Deep breaths,

We indicate to our bodies that it's time to relax.

It's time to rejuvenate.

It's time to recharge.

Take in a nice,

Long,

Deep breath and slowly release it.

Be aware of how your breath comes into your belly and goes out of your belly.

Breathing in through the nose,

Breathing out through the nose.

Pay attention to the sensation of the breath as it comes down your airways into your lungs.

Try and feel your lungs absorb the oxygen with each breath.

Feel the breath as it leaves your body.

Now breathe deeper by expanding your abdominal region.

Be aware of the rise and fall of your abdominal region with each breath.

Feel the sensation of the breath on your nostrils.

Feel the coolness with each breath going in.

Feel the warmth with each breath going out.

One breath at a time.

Be in each breath from beginning to end.

Follow your breath.

Breathing in through the nose,

Breathing out through the nose.

Scan your body up and down for the next few moments,

Being mindful of any physical sensations.

Be aware of how your body is feeling.

Feel your breath as it enters your body and as it leaves your body.

Starting to disengage from your mind and only being in your breath.

Full attention on your body.

Full attention on your breath.

Relaxing the body.

Breathing in and out.

Letting go and allowing yourself to be fully in this moment with your breath.

One breath at a time.

Surrender to your breath.

Follow your breath for the next few moments.

Allow each breath to take you into a deeper state of relaxation.

Breathing in through the nose,

Breathing out through the nose.

Letting go and allowing yourself to be fully in this moment with your breath.

Letting go and allowing yourself to be fully in this moment with your breath.

Letting go and allowing yourself to be fully in this moment with your breath.

Letting go and allowing yourself to be fully in this moment with your breath.

Letting go and allowing yourself to be fully in this moment with your breath.

Letting go and allowing yourself to be fully in this moment with your breath.

Letting go and allowing yourself to be fully in this moment with your breath.

Letting go and allowing yourself to be fully in this moment with your breath.

To finish this practice,

I will read a quote from the ancient text.

Breath is the bridge which connects life to consciousness,

Which unifies your body and mind.

Those who master the breath,

Master life.

One breath at a time.

Take this presence with you for the rest of your day.

Namaste.
