For this exercise I ask you to stand or sit in front of a mirror.

If you don't have a mirror at hand,

Then just pause for a moment and get in front of a mirror.

It doesn't matter if it's a big one or a small one that you hold in your hand.

I just want you to be able to take a look at yourself.

Take a look in the mirror.

First start by taking a look at your face.

The shape of your face.

The color of your cheeks.

The way your hair sits around your head.

Can you see your ears?

Your nose?

Your mouth?

Now take a look at your own eyes.

The shape of your eyes.

The color of your eyes.

Look into your own eyes.

What do you see?

When you look in your own eyes,

You can see your own soul.

Your soul is speaking to you.

It says,

I love you.

You know that?

Do you know how much I love you?

I am here for you all the time.

You sometimes forget that I am here for you,

But I love you.

I am here.

I will catch you if you fall.

I will support you if you need it.

I am cheering you on whether you fail or succeed.

I am here loving you,

Supporting you,

Cheering you on,

Knowing what is good for you,

Knowing that you are unique,

You are lovable,

You are worthy.

Now while you are looking at your own eyes,

Into your own soul,

And you hear these words,

Can you feel that you can receive these words?

Or is it hard?

If it is hard,

That's okay.

Many people find it hard to receive this kind of unconditional love for who you are.

But it is right there.

So if these words make you cry,

That's okay.

It's a release of tension within your body.

It's a release of sadness.

It's a release of resistance against this unconditional love that is always here for you.

Take another look in your own eyes.

And without any words,

Can you feel the love that is flowing towards you?

You could imagine this like a light beam,

A beautiful light beam,

Streaming towards you in this undeniably strong,

Potent,

Eternal,

Never-ending,

Continuing stream.

Stream of love for you.

You are loved by you,

By your soul.

You are loved by yourself.

Every split second of every day.

Don't forget it.

And when you find it hard to feel it right now,

Or when you find it hard to feel it outside of this practice,

Then come back frequently.

Look in your own eyes and listen to these words.

You deserve it.

You are lovable.

You are love.
