Breath directs this entire meditation, moving and guiding it in different ways, until you're sensing and seeing it gathering at the crown of your head. You'll feel charged, and surrounded with your own positive energy!

Welcome.

Please set yourself up so that your torso is long,

Your body is comfortable.

And as you feel yourself,

Your body becoming situated in the seated position,

Begin to watch the flow of your breath moving in and out of your nostrils.

And then continue watching your breath,

But now watching the flow of your breath as it moves up the nostrils,

Down the throat,

And into that place deep in your lungs.

So follow that line of breath to its end place.

And then on your exhale,

Follow that flow from the lungs all the way back out to the tip of the nostrils,

Where the breath will begin again.

And we'll continue this pattern,

Inhaling,

Watching the breath move from the nostrils all the way to its end place at the lungs.

And exhale,

Watching that place from the lungs all the way back out to the tip of the nostrils.

A few more cycles following the flow of your breath from nostril to lung and back.

And now,

Please bring awareness to the base of your spine.

And from the base of the spine,

We're going to be following the breath up,

But on the outside of the body.

We're going to follow it up past the navel center,

The heart center,

Face,

All the way up to 12 inches above the crown of the head.

And then on exhale,

We're going to follow that same line of energy back down from the crown of the head in front of the face,

The heart center,

The navel center,

Back to the base of the spine.

So that will be our pattern,

Inhaling up the front of the body from the base of the spine,

Finding this arc of energy all the way up the front of the body to 12 inches above the crown of the head.

And following that same arc back down.

And we'll continue this for another minute or so.

Just simply knowing that you're following it in front of the body,

Not necessarily seeing it pass specifically the navel,

The heart.

It's more fluid,

More subtle.

Three more cycles from the base of the spine up the front of the body to 12 inches above the crown and back down.

And now from the base of the spine,

We'll move our awareness and move that energy up now the back of the body,

Tracing up the low,

The middle,

The upper back,

All the way to 12 inches above the crown of the head,

All on inhale.

And then exhale,

Tracing that same line of energy all the way back down to the base of the spine.

Continue this pattern moving up now the back of the body and back down another minute or so.

One more cycle.

And now we'll move our pattern on inhale from the base of the spine up the front of the body to 12 inches above the crown.

And then on exhale,

Tracing from 12 inches above the crown down the back of the body.

So now completing in a sense this circle,

Front of the body on inhale,

Back of the body on exhale.

Continue on your own,

Please.

Seeing and sensing your breath moving up in front of you to 12 inches above the crown.

And then seeing or sensing this line of energy tracing now behind you.

One more cycle,

Just like that.

And then we will reverse the pattern.

The inhale will be moving and tracing the breath up the back of the body to 12 inches above the crown of the head.

And exhale from the crown of the head down the front of the body.

So we'll move in that way up the back of the body on inhale,

Down the front of the body on exhale.

On your own,

Please another minute or two.

Now please rest in this space.

Feeling charged with your own prana,

Your own energy.

Surrounded by your positive life force.

Feeling as if you've been put in place.

Taller and more alert.

And though the technique is gone,

Still feeling those arcs of energy humming around you.

Rest in this space for another minute.

And knowing that this energy is available to you all of the time.

Please bow your head slightly.

Begin to take in a few very smooth,

Deep breaths.

Start to move your thumb over your fingers,

Bringing movement and circulation into your hands.

With your hands at your heart center,

Bowing to that higher self,

Surrounded by this energy,

And that she knows how to tap into it.
