Boundaries.

When we set them,

We become our own powerful protector.

Or perhaps better said,

Our empowered protector.

When we set boundaries,

There is no more room for obligation or should.

Instead,

We participate in activities that charge us,

And in turn we become more available to who and what matters in our lives.

100% guilt-free.

It is important to express that we do not set boundaries to keep people out or to build more walls around our hearts.

But we set boundaries to make sure that we're not living in fear of others' opinions and judgments and that we're living in our truth.

Regardless of what it is that you want to accomplish,

You have to be inspired.

That begins and ends with you.

And that means saying no a lot.

Doing what you need to take care of and nurture yourself and then filling this new space with meaningful and soulful activities.

Slower softer movement.

Meditating.

Journaling.

Walking.

Biking.

Soaking your feet.

Spiritual reading.

Cooking a healthy meal.

Taking a bath.

Seeking out knowledgeable teachers.

When you combine all of these,

You instantly begin to feel better because you are living more authentically.

Did you know who and what makes you feel good and you know who and what doesn't?

Having this knowledge is powerful because this is where you make decisions from.

Now when you say no,

It comes from a place of confidence and without guilt because your true self knows what you need.

It is also from this true self that you will begin to say yes to the people and activities that keep you honest,

Aware,

And inspired.

Let's take a few minutes here in silence.

Go ahead and set yourself up in a comfortable seated position or lying down.

And this will be a two-part meditation.

First just begin to tune in to the sensations in your belly.

Do you feel resolved,

Confident there?

Or is there a lingering sense of unease?

Pay attention to how it makes you feel.

Go ahead and set yourself up in a comfortable seated position or lying down.

Let's take a few minutes here in silence.

Good to go.

Now,

Visualize a brilliant yellow light at your navel,

Pulsing with every breath.

This is the energy and growth of your willpower.

This is the energy and growth of your willpower.

This is the energy and growth of your willpower.

This is the energy and growth of your willpower.

And then begin to bring your awareness back to the expansion,

The contraction of your belly.

Remember that you can connect to this light whenever you are feeling a lack of confidence,

Or simply when you want to take comfort in its fullness.

Feel free to stay in the seated position or in Shavasana for as long as you would like.
