Beginning this meditation by softly closing your eyes.
Feel one palm inside the other.
Feel your seat in the chair.
Bring a softness to your face and your chest and your hips.
And from this softness,
Bring to mind your loved one.
Bring to mind the loved one you would like to do this meditation for.
See this person smiling,
Beaming.
See that person's uniqueness.
See their spark.
And now say for this person,
I accept you as you are.
I accept you in every manifestation.
I want you to be happy.
I will support you in your dreams,
Your goals,
And in you being kind to yourself.
I will view every argument as an opportunity to get to know you better.
I will be a spacious container for all that is within you.
I am honored to be able to spend time in your presence.
I want nothing from you,
And I want everything for you.
I honor your values,
And I want you to feel safe always.
I always want you to feel safe being yourself,
Even as you change.
And as you change,
I am always open to getting to know you anew.
Setting that intention for your loved one,
For the presence you offer your loved one.
And we'll end this practice with self-compassion.
So balancing compassion with self-compassion.
Place a hand to your heart.
Feel the warmth that is there at your heart.
And now say for yourself,
May I be happy and fulfilled.
May I be healthy.
May I be safe and feel safe.
May I find peace.
I will take good care of my own heart.
I accept myself as a human being,
Just as I am.
I have good intentions toward myself and toward the world as a whole.
And now thank yourself.
Thank yourself for having done this meditation practice.
Letting the hands release.
Take a deep breath in through the mouth.
Breathing out through the mouth.
And when you feel ready,
Opening your eyes,
Bringing this compassion with you.
