Tune into your breath.
Let your warm,
Affectionate,
Grateful awareness be on your breath.
Like you'd pay attention to a two-year-old child you love,
You want to give more energy to.
Pay attention to your body breathing in the same way for just a few moments.
And now set the intention that I choose to view all beings with eyes of compassion and acceptance.
I choose to view myself with eyes of compassion and acceptance.
I want to work and I want to rest.
I choose to respond to the world calmly with acceptance so I may have energy.
I am here to tune into myself,
To pay attention to this body,
To open my heart to itself and to all other beings.
I am here to take care of my body and my spirit.
I am here to listen to my body and my spirit and all that's genuine within me,
All that's genuinely alive in me.
I am here to have periods of activity and periods of rest.
And I am here to bring my awareness to this present moment.
And now thank yourself with real gratitude,
With real acknowledgement.
Thank yourself for doing this practice,
For your energy,
For your happiness,
And also dedicating your practice to the happiness of all those around you.
Your joy is everyone else's joy too.
Your energy means more energy in every space you enter.
We give what we have.
We share what's within us,
Setting the intention to cultivate all that is beautiful and energetic within you and bringing a presence that's beautiful into the world.
And take a deep breath in on your own time.
Take a deep breath out through the mouth and as you feel ready,
Coming back to the space,
Maybe seeing it differently,
More openly,
With more willingness to be present for it.
