Chronic pelvic pain is multi-faceted. The pain may have started with an organic reason, such as an ovarian cyst, endometriosis, fibroids etc., but has continued to linger despite the initial cause having resolved. Or for some, it may have started and then persisted without a known cause. Typically, even if we are not aware of it, when there is pelvic pain, there is also pelvic floor dysfunction - which makes our pain experience even worse. This course will teach you breath techniques to relax your pelvic floor and therefore ease pain. We will also delve into other pain contributors (such as stored emotion), as well as explore your personal relationship to pain. My biggest goal is to give you tools you can use outside of our time together to manage, and over time, decrease your pain. Here are some of the examples of topics we will explore: -The many contributors to Pelvic Pain (stress, lack of sleep, trauma, stored emotion, and more) -Mechanics of the Pelvic Floor, and how this relates to breath -Techniques to relax the pelvic floor and ease pain -How to find resource within the body -How to communicate with your pain -How to understand your pain on a deeper level -How pain pathways work, and how we can work with them to our advantage -How to Transmute, or change, how you experience pain *NOTE - If you have experienced pelvic pain for over 3 months, and have not been examined by a health care provider, please do so. This course is designed for those who have lingering pain, despite there no longer being a medical reason for their pain. Pain is a powerful communicator, and could be telling you something is really wrong. If you're not sure, go get assessed so you can be sure*

Lektion 1
The Pelvic Floor Breath
In this lesson, we will breathe deeply into the abdomen and pelvis. We will explore the dynamics of pelvic floor movement with our breath. Finally, we will use our breathe to learn how to soften and release the muscles of the pelvic floor.
Lektion 2
Adding On To The Pelvic Floor Breath
In this lesson, we will start by experiencing what a kegel, or a pelvic floor contraction, feels like. Once we identify how we are holding our pelvic floor, we can then take steps to modify these holding patterns. We will then go back into the pelvic floor breath from lesson 1, then we will add a breath stacking technique to it. We will also pay attention to the energetic quality we are sending to the pelvis with our breath.
Lektion 3
Working With Your Chronic Pain Pathway
In this lesson, you will learn how chronic pain pathways are formed. You will learn possible explanations of how you developed chronic pelvic pain in the first place. You will then be guided through a meditation that will help you to connect to your pain pathway, and decrease the intensity of the pain signal itself.
Lektion 4
Yoga Nidra
Yoga Nidra is a guided meditation that facilitates deep relaxation, especially of the muscles. In this lesson you will be guided through a yoga nidra practice. We will build off this technique for our next lesson - in which we will be learning how to find resources in the body.
Lektion 5
Internal Resources
In this lesson, we will learn how our resources can help support us. We will use Yoga Nidra technique to connect with different parts of the body. We will discover areas of resource, or comfort, in the body, as well as areas of discomfort and neutrality.
Lektion 6
Softening Pain With The Pelvic Breath
In this lesson, we will build on what we learned in lessons 1 and 2. We will incorporate delivering breath directly to the area of pain to soften, release, and decrease pelvic pain at its source. Make sure to find a comfortable, private place for this lesson.
Lektion 7
Connecting With Resource And Pain
In this lesson, we will reconnect with our internal bodily resource. We will explore the characteristics of resource and intensify them. While staying connected to resource, we will also start to explore our pelvic pain - knowing that our resource is there as an anchor. We will explore how connection with resource can change our experience of pain.
Lektion 8
Communicating With Discomfort
In this lesson, we will communicate even more deeply with our pain, or discomfort. We will allow our discomfort to reveal to us anything that it needs to so we can better understand why it exists, and what its needs are.
Lektion 9
The Pleasure Breath
In this lesson, we will use our awareness and breath to activate the sensation of pleasure in the pelvis. We will then distribute this sensation to areas of discomfort in order to transmute, or shift, our perception of discomfort.
Lektion 10
Transmuting Discomfort
In this lesson, we will learn another technique to transmute our discomfort. We will use visualization, breath, and energetics, to shift discomfort away from its source. Prepare to shift your experience with pain.
Lektion 11
Wrapping Up The Course
In this lesson, I will relay some final thoughts I have on Chronic Pelvic pain, including ideas on other resources that I recommend. We will also summarize some of what we have learned in the course.

This course was informative, inspiring and gave me hope. I’ve lived with pelvic pain for over 30 years and thought it was just the way my body was. Words really can’t express how grateful I am for this learning. It’s been life altering. Thank you.

Thank you so much. I tried your course to help me deal with the discomfort of fibroids in the womb and the yoga nidra was especially helpful to deal with the pain. I have included it into my daily routine to help my body rest, digest and rejuvenate from daily impulses. Thank you, XO Marianne
