Welcome to your guided meditation by me,
Danielle March,
In collaboration with Lululemon.
Please go ahead and find a comfortable shape,
A place where you can find stillness,
Whatever that looks like for you.
As you begin to settle,
Please turn your attention inward.
And as you do that,
Soften your breath.
This is your yoga,
A place you come to connect breath and how it feels to be alive.
This is what that feels like for you now.
A place to practice presence through meditation.
It's taking a moment to experience being fully present here and now.
A place where we find freedom through the practice of letting go,
Allowing anything that does not serve you to fall away,
Even if just for this moment.
This is where the more pleasant moments you can BRING really,
Truly to life.
A place we stand for non-violence by considering the impact of our thoughts,
Our words and our actions,
Choosing to respond with space instead of reaction.
A place for you to practice self-discipline by coming back to your breath,
Your mat,
The game,
Your work,
Especially when things get challenging.
A place to practice self-discovery through inquiry and through curiosity,
Eventually finding our way back to our very essence.
A place to practice trusting that you are exactly where you need to be on this path,
On this day,
In this moment,
Welcoming in this very next breath.
A place we practice devotion,
Our commitment to purpose and dedication to something greater than ourselves.
A place to feel comfort and joy,
Or perhaps just feel whatever is there today.
A teacher of compassion and humility,
Every time we catch a glimpse of ourselves in others.
A place to practice generosity through selfless service by sharing our gifts with this world.
A place to sharpen our focus and concentration,
Keeping your head up,
Your gaze forward,
Soft and steady.
A place we come to purify our bodies,
Our minds,
And our intentions.
And finally,
A place we come to practice patience and acceptance,
With others,
But mostly with ourselves.
This is your yoga.
May this meditation practice serve as a reminder that the lessons of yoga are far reaching beyond the math.
Notice how these practices show up for you in your everyday life.
Namaste.
