Welcome to your 20 minute guided meditation using a mantra with very light guidance from me,
Dani.
I'll be introducing a simple mantra,
One of my favorites,
So Hum,
Which roughly translates to I am,
I am that,
That I am.
Should you wish to use your own mantra,
You'll have plenty of space to do just that once my voice fades into the background.
Let's begin.
Sit comfortably with your legs and arms relaxed.
Shoulders are above your hips.
I encourage you at first to gently shift around,
Perhaps from side to side,
Forward and back,
Eventually coming to a place of stillness where you feel settled and supported.
Close your eyes.
Turn your attention to your breath until you find a natural,
Easy rhythm.
And I'll start us off with an audible mantra,
But my voice will eventually disappear.
You'll continue to silently repeat the mantra on a loop.
And when you notice that you've become quiet,
Distracted,
Or have lost the mantra,
You'll simply start again.
So hum.
So hum.
So hum.
So hum.
So hum.
So hum.
So hum.
So hum.
So hum.
So hum.
Continue repeating the mantra as you move deeper and deeper into your experience.
So hum.
So hum.
So hum.
So hum.
If you notice that the mind is engaging in thought and you've lost the mantra,
Just begin again.
So hum.

Allowing that technique to lead you into your deepest state of relaxation.

Beginning to deepen your breath now as you let go of the mantra completely.
Start to sense your surroundings.
And feel your body in space.
Take it the next few moments to acclimate your inner and outer worlds.
Staying as long as you need.
But when you do feel ready,
Just gently bow the chin.
Open your eyes and lift your gaze.
So hum.
So hum.
So hum.
So hum.
So hum.
So hum.
So hum.
