Welcome to a brief meditation to prime and clear the way for intention or goal setting.
I'm Dani and I'll be your guide today.
Go ahead and sit comfortably,
Gently closing down your eyes.
You might even shift around from side to side until you feel settled and supported,
Eventually coming into stillness.
So we'll begin our clearing today with a few rounds of breath.
Your inhalation,
Notice the chest expand.
As you exhale,
See if you can be mindful of emptying out all of your air from your lungs.
Just repeating this cycle as you breathe in,
Fill up,
Get bigger.
As you exhale,
Empty fully.
I'd like you to repeat this cleansing breath.
Eight more cycles.
Each time getting a little bigger,
The inhalation and a little bit more empty with the exhalation.
Let's let the intention be to release anything that isn't related to breathing.
So anything that feels or looks like old,
Outdated thoughts and patterns that don't serve you.
Use the exhalation to release them.
Now,
Before we start to fill up again with something new,
I'd like you to consider staying here and sensing the space that you've created for yourself.
See riding the breath,
Noticing and being.
We all Jackson right now?
So maintaining the same quality of attention here as you hold sense of lightness,
We move into some gentle inquiry.
I'm going to pose a question and try not to force an answer.
Instead wait to see if anything surfaces on its own.
Sometimes we feel that we need permission to grow or to take up more space and often that's really just our own fear getting in the way.
So together let's inhale deeply and exhale fully letting go of any residual fear,
Negative self talk or old outdated patterns.
Now is there an area in your life where you might be playing small?
An area of your life that might be just giving you a gentle nudge to take up more space?
And without forcing an answer or getting into the analytical mind,
See if you can just hold space for whatever that wants to come up or reveal itself to surface.
If something came up for you then you can take that forward into your intention setting and your goal setting.
And if nothing came up for you today you might consider just holding space a little longer,
Being patient,
Being curious.
And as you move into your goal setting I'd like for you to remain mindful but to be bold in your choices.
You actually be surprised the space that lives just on the other side of that wall that you've been pushing up against.
Now if you have a particular goal or intention in mind that is aligned perhaps with the little nugget of information that you received in your meditation today,
I'd like you to think about one step that you can take today that will get you just a little bit closer to that goal or that intention.
So just one simple thing that you can do today that feels aligned to that intention or that goal.
Staying here as long as you need.
When you're ready just gently open the eyes.
If you flicker them open notice that they are wide and clear.
And now you can move about your day.
