I want you to be sitting comfortably.
You can either be lying down or sitting upright with your feet firmly planted on the ground and your spine straight.
When you are ready you can close your eyes.
And I want you to take a big deep breath in.
Hold it for a few seconds and release.
And take another deep breath in.
Hold it for a few seconds and release.
And continue with this breathing sequence.
Breathing in and letting go.
Imagine that you are breathing in peace,
Clarity and releasing stress,
Dark energies.
Just letting it all go.
Continue focusing on your breathing in and let it go.
And with each exhale just start to relax each part of your body.
If you can feel any tension,
Any stress that is held in any part of the body just breathe into it and release it.
Just let it all go.
Start to feel that relaxation from your head all the way down to your shoulders.
Just relax your shoulders as the breath comes down and you exhale.
Continue to release and let go.
As you feel your arms and your fingertips just relax as you breathe in and let it go.
And continue to relax your chest,
Your abdominals,
Your pelvic area.
Just feel the breath relax every part of your body down through to your thighs,
Your calves.
As that relaxation continues down to your ankles,
Your feet,
Down through your toes.
And just feel your body just totally let go of all the stresses,
All the shoulds,
All the why not,
All the I have to be here,
All the I have to do this.
Just let it go.
Right at this moment you do not have to be anybody but yourself.
It's all about you.
So just release all the external energies,
Everything that you've taken upon yourself.
Just let it go,
Let it go,
Let it drop away.
This is your time.
It's not your time to reflect,
It's not your time to think about things,
It's just about letting go.
Getting in touch with your true self,
Your inner core being.
Continue to breathe in and exhale.
And if there are any thoughts or any worries that come to mind,
On the exhale just release,
Let it go.
And if you can,
Imagine any doubts,
Worries,
Anxieties,
Stresses,
Imagine them floating up into the sky and then almost floating deep into the clouds and just evaporating.
Letting them go.
Letting them go to the higher being,
The higher source,
It's just energy.
Just let it go.
And come back to you as you inhale,
Inner peace,
Inner clarity and exhale all the external energies,
All the labels,
All the responsibilities.
It's about you and being you and getting in touch with the core of you.
Put the labels down and relax.
And as I go quiet I want you to just continue imagining in your mind's eye,
Just letting go and enjoying this time with you.
During this quiet time you can imagine yourself in your favourite place,
Enjoying the scenery and just sitting there and just enjoying the atmosphere.
That could be by the beach,
It could be with nature on fresh green grass or it can be in your favourite spot,
The place you like to go.
Just in your mind's eye imagine yourself where you want to be,
Where you are most happiest and if you can't that's ok.
Just focus on your breathing and just enjoy this time being with you and your inner self.
Take as long as you want.
And if it feels good to continue,
Continue staying in this moment.
Just let go,
Release everything,
Empty yourself and just be with you.
This is your time.
And when you are ready you can begin to wiggle your toes,
Move your fingers and start feeling where you are right now and then when you are done you can open your eyes and take a nice deep breath in and exhale.
