Welcome to the Body Mind Spirit Show with me your host coach Rita Hurry.
Hey everyone welcome to a new episode of the Body Mind Spirit Show with me your host Rita Hurry and it's been a while since I've done a new show so apologies to all of you listeners out there and subscribers who have been following the show I always want to make sure that I bring the best content to you and give you advice and guidance that helps you and I've had some great guests on the show who've been absolutely amazing and have shared their expertise and helped you which I'm sure they have in terms of helping you move forward and get the best out of life in every single area of body mind and spirit but today it is me and I want to be able to share insight and guidance as I mentioned earlier to help you and today I felt inspired to record this show because I really want to talk about mindset I really want to talk about the importance of mindset and how it's so easy for us to lose our focus and just be pulled from pillar to post by everyday life we one moment feel we've got it all together we feel yes I've got this I can move forward and then with the same token and in the same day we forget that and then we just react to situations if you're someone who feels that you're often being pulled in various directions in one day and you lose your focus on what you want you need to be able to create some discipline in your life you need to be able to create some structure in your life and that is from morning right through till before you go to bed because what you focus on is what you create more and it's so important to not lose sight of this to gain that focus you need to be aware of what you want what is it exactly that you want from life what do you feel you need to manifest in order for the fulfillment and happiness that you want to achieve this has to be the foundation that you build your day on and the best way to do this is by having a morning routine that when you wake up soon as you wake up with your eyes open that you do either a meditation a visualization or you get out your goals list and you read it in order to start the day with the right focus you have to remind yourself of that which you want that is going to be your structure for the day that is going to be your focus for the day when you feed your subconscious with that which you want and you start your day with that focus you will achieve that success that you want but you've got to instill it in you this is where the inner work comes to play so you're doing the external work by reading your goals list by getting clear on what you want but then the meditation the visualization the feeding it into your subconscious becomes the inner work and this is so important this is where the body mind spirit connection evolves if you were just getting up you know waking up to your alarm clock and being like oh I've got to get out of bed got a shower up got a get out there and go to work or do XYZ for my business and you're not giving a moment's thought to what you want and that goal that you want for yourself then you are never going to achieve it you are going to be put be pulled from pillar to post because as soon as you've woken up you're already reacting to the day so if you're reacting to the day as soon as you wake up then of course you're going to continue reacting to the day as your day continues it is so so so important to have the structure from morning right through till the evening what do you do for the evening look at your goal before you go to bed think about what ways did you do anything in your day that brought you closer to that goal what actions did you take what could you change don't beat yourself up about things that maybe you haven't done but just be aware and remind yourself before you go to bed of what your goals are what you want to achieve and then as you go to sleep that's in your head it's there it's so so so important you are important to you and if you don't take control of the day the day is going to take control of you I'm going to repeat that if you don't take control of the day the day is going to take control of you this is mindset this is focus this is getting clear on what you want you are a creator you create and if you react to situations then you are creating more of the same you are creating reactions you're allowing your reactions to create more of the same and that is not what you should do you've got a mind that is powerful you've got a mind that is unlimited a lot of us don't utilize it a lot of us are not utilizing the power of the mind why not why are you allowing yourself to be a victim of situations don't don't be a victim of situations take back your ownership of your life you can do it in whatever situation even if you're older or you've gone through a lot of heartache or you've had lots of relationships that haven't worked out or career-wise financially or whatever it is you can get that ownership back and take control you can take control now so I'm going to keep this short and sweet because I just felt a calling to to record this and give this message to you but I want you to know that your mindset is powerful and once you put that structure in place in the morning and you put that structure in place in the evening this will be your compass for the day this will keep you heading north towards your goal it's worked for me it really has transformed my life from someone who reacted to everything to someone who is now in control and saying no more this is how I'm gonna do it and that's all mindset so I want you to take this message and your action point will be to write your goal what is it that you really want to focus on it to meditate on it to visualize on it to get clear on it and every day to look at it if you want to write it out again you can do that look at it in the evening look at it again let it sink in you want to be feeding your subconscious with it and it will be there whenever things are moving in life or are up and down it will be in the foundation of you because you are feeding your mind your body your spirit with that which you want so I hope that's helped and again apologies for it being so long since
