Welcome to this guided sleep journey meditation.
You have arrived at a time set aside entirely for rest and there is nothing you need to do except be here.
Allow your body to settle into the position that feels most comfortable.
You do not need to adjust anything unless it helps you feel supported.
Take a slow steady breath in through your nose and let it out softly through your mouth.
Let your breath find its natural rhythm,
Easy and unforced.
There is no need to focus on these words.
If sleep comes quickly,
Allow it.
If it comes slowly,
Allow that too.
Both are perfectly fine.
Feel the weight of your body being held by the bed.
Let your muscles soften,
Your shoulders release,
Your jaw rest.
From here there will be a long period of quiet.
Your thoughts may drift by and that is natural.
Simply let them pass and return your focus to your body and to your breath.
The day's concerns can wait.
For now,
This time is yours to rest deeply,
Safely and fully.
As your rest begins to come to an end,
Notice your breathing becoming a little deeper and more deliberate.
There is no need to rush.
Allow your awareness to return slowly.
If your eyes are closed,
You can keep them closed for a few moments longer.
Notice the support beneath you and the space around you.
Begin to invite small gentle movements back into your body,
A stretch,
A roll of the shoulders,
A slightly deeper breath.
Carry this calm,
Rested feeling with you as you awaken.
When you feel ready,
Open your eyes slowly and begin your day with ease and presence.
