Hello,

Claire Downam,

Queen of Calm here,

With a meditation to awaken your inner strength and embrace your potential.

So let's begin.

First of all,

Make yourself comfortable.

You may choose to be seated,

Or perhaps you prefer to be laid down.

It really doesn't matter.

Trust yourself in the decisions you make about the position in which you will do this meditation.

Now take a deep breath in,

And as you exhale,

Allow your eyes to close,

If they're not already closed.

And now take another deep breath.

You can choose to breathe in through your nose and out through your nose,

Or in through your nose and out through your mouth.

It's entirely up to you.

Trust your wisdom.

Trust your inner guidance.

Only you can really know what's right for you.

Whether you're seated or lying down now,

Just feel yourself supported.

Supported by whatever you're lying on or sitting on.

Feel where your body touches the surface.

If your feet are on the floor,

That may be the ground,

Or perhaps it's your back against the bed,

Or against the back of the chair.

Again,

Trust yourself to find your own place of grounding.

And now notice your breath.

Just notice how your breath has settled now into a natural rhythm.

Just observe it.

Trust your body to guide you into the present moment.

Notice the heaviness in various parts of your body.

Notice the heaviness in your back.

Notice the heaviness in your legs.

Notice the dropping of your shoulders as they relax.

Gently scan down your body,

Noticing and letting go of any pockets of tension.

Just allow them to fall away.

That's all this is.

It's a process of falling away.

Notice now that your body is relaxing and you're feeling calmer.

Focus your attention once more on your breath.

Going in and out.

Knowing that it's at just the right rhythm.

Just observing it.

Noticing how present you feel right now.

Noticing this sense that this moment is the only moment that matters,

And enjoying that feeling.

Now,

I want you to consider your connection to the source of all things.

Just consider this inner strength that is within you.

And take a moment to connect to that idea.

All day,

Every day,

We're busy doing and thinking and feeling.

But everything that you truly are is underneath all that busy doing and thinking and feeling.

A source of inner strength that's available to all of us.

That is who we truly are.

Connect to that in this moment.

Feel that sense that you are this power,

This universal intelligence,

This universal mind.

The source of all things,

The wisdom of everything.

And now,

I'd like you to visualize that source of inner strength within you.

Remember that whatever you come up with can only be right.

It'll always be the right thing for you right now.

Each time you listen to this meditation,

It may take a different form,

And that's okay too.

This source of inner strength could for you be some kind of light or color,

Some space of more intense heat or cold.

It doesn't really matter.

It's entirely up to you.

But realize that whatever you visualize is your connection to the source of all things.

Your connection to the intelligence of life.

So just feel it for now.

Perhaps it's in your heart,

Or maybe in your gut,

Or maybe in your head.

It's entirely up to you.

But wherever it starts,

I want you to begin to feel it expanding,

Getting bigger and bigger.

Feel the power of it.

Feel the energy emanating from this source of power.

Feel the reassurance and the trust you get from knowing that that power is always inside you.

Feel the embodiment of it as it spreads throughout the whole of you,

Up and down and outwards from the original place.

See it spread through every part of your body,

And then see it spread out from you into the world.

Feeling the connection between you and all living things.

Feeling your connection to the universe.

Knowing that this source of wisdom,

Intelligence and power is inside you always.

Knowing that sometimes you won't experience it like you are right now.

Sometimes you'll be human,

Caught up in your thinking,

Caught up in your feelings.

But I want you to know now that that source of energy,

Your limitless potential,

Is always there.

It cannot be taken away.

It cannot be damaged.

It cannot be broken.

It is the source of everything.

It is like a diamond inside you,

Whole and well always.

And like all humans,

Sometimes you'll miss it,

Sometimes you'll forget.

And maybe that's a time to come back to this meditation.

This meditation is to remind you that everything you need is already inside you.

That your inner strength is there,

Sometimes sleeping underneath the noise of our busyness and our doing,

Our thinking and our feelings,

But always there.

Take a deep breath now as you settle yourself into this connection with your limitless potential.

See your whole body bathing in it.

See it spreading out from you into the world,

Into the universe.

See it as your connection to the universal source of everything,

And know that that is always available to you.

Now,

Take a final deep breath for this meditation,

And feel a gentle smile spread across your face.

Now,

You're beginning to come back into the room.

Feel some movement in your fingers,

In your toes.

Maybe shrug your shoulders and move your limbs,

And gently bring yourself back into this present moment,

Into the room where you are.

When you're ready,

You can open your eyes,

And whenever you need a reminder of your true limitless potential,

You can come back to this meditation and listen again.
