Be aware of how your body is resting,
Taking note of any areas that seem to begin deflating or descending.

Relax and begin to let go.
Can you feel the relief starting to take effect?
On each breath out,
You may notice that your body loosens further,
Becoming less tense and more comfortable.
You're doing great,
Scanning from head to toe,
Are there any areas that you could adjust and perhaps soften without too much effort?
Take a moment to make these adjustments.
In a moment the music will change and you will begin to go deeper into a very restful state,
Maybe even enough for you to fall asleep.
Whatever is going on in your mind,
I would like you to stay focused on my voice as I guide you into a very peaceful mindset.
Imagine that you are now looking at the world,
Through your eyes,
From inside your mind.
Sense that you are there,
As if looking out of the window of your consciousness,
There is no sound,
Just you in this quieter space.
As you continue to feel your body descending,
You yourself begin to float downwards,
Just like being in an elevator.
Smoothly you descend,
Further into your mind,
Further into your imagination.
The image of the windows are now gone,
You are making your way to a more peaceful place.
You can sense that your eyes are closed more tightly now,
As you drift down further.
I will now count down from 10 to 1,
And when I say the number 1,
You will be at a level where you can begin relaxing completely.
Lowering softly,
Relaxing more,
You let go of the outside world.
Preparing yourself for your journey.
You are ready to receive all the positive and beneficial energies associated with being calm.
Your mind becomes quieter.
You feel more at peace.
Your body can be felt loosening very much now.
Your focus is on the here and now.
Nothing else matters in this moment.
Every muscle is now soft and rested.
You feel a vibrational frequency of positivity.
Landing softly,
You are now presented with a doorway.
Everything feels settled,
Calm and tranquil.
Reaching out,
You pull down the handle and open the door.
A soft blue and hazy light glows and becomes brighter the more you open the door.
The image of mountains at night time is observed,
With a forest and a lake as the foreground.
Walking past the threshold,
You close the door.
Your mind is now very,
Very quiet.
You are away from any thoughts or feelings in your special place of calmness now.
Your imagination can take you anywhere and here is but one of the fine places that provide peacefulness and time to rest.
Moon beams a yellow and golden glow onto the land and the surroundings below,
Bringing a warmth and reassurance to the atmosphere.
Here,
You can just be,
You can relax or even fall asleep,
If you so wish.
There are a few clouds in the night sky that bring an ambience of movement and there is a slow warm breeze that caresses your skin.
As you feel the breeze,
You sense its magical energy as it picks up the healing properties of the flowers,
Trees and moon glow that is in the air.
Breathing it in is effortless,
Replenishing your energy levels and balancing your mood at the same time.
Your skin absorbs this wondrous gift and is felt through your muscles,
Relaxing,
Loosening down to a more comfortable state.
Looking around,
The atmosphere of tranquility couldn't be any better.
You are stood beneath a beautiful weeping willow.
The peaks of the mountains remain still as the thin clouds waft over them.
The water in the lake sparkles as it catches the moons light,
Creating a hypnotic display of ripples.
The branches and leaves of the trees sway softly every now and then,
In time to the gentle breeze.
This place is a calm,
Healing space and it is just for you.
Underneath your feet,
Soft grass,
Cool to the touch,
Soothes your feet and brings a grounded state to your mind.
You take in the ambience of everything you see,
Hear and feel.
Looking up,
You watch the clouds slowly drift across the sky.
Each cloud is a thought in your mind.
When the clouds disappear and the night sky becomes clear with only the moon,
Your mind will also be clear.
Your eyes are very heavy,
Now observing the clouds which become thinner and thinner.
Every muscle now loosening and getting ready to completely rest.
Counting down from 10 to 1 now,
When I reach the number 1,
The clouds will be gone and so too will any distractive thoughts,
Worries and concerns.

Your mind feels lighter.

You may now observe a stillness from within.

Light of the moon grows stronger as too does your focus on peacefulness.

Each breath is now longer and deeper.

You are now no longer thinking about anything else except how relaxed you truly are.

Muscles and face let go of any remaining tense energy.

Are at peace,
Devoid of any overthinking or any tension.
You are now completely present,
You may if you so wish,
Sit or lie down beneath the tree.
It's up to you whether you rest here,
Fall asleep or awaken from this calming space.
I'll give you a moment to decide.

You've decided to stay.
When comfy,
Lie or sit in a position that provides the most comfort now.
As you feel the positive vibrations in the air,
Your breathing becomes even more relaxed than before.
Your mind is absolutely focused on this moment and how invested you are in the peaceful sensations that you receive.
With your heartbeat settling to a slow resting state,
Each muscle in turn begins to slowly unravel and relax.
You are now loosening deeply with a clear and quiet mind.
Your toes now tingle their way to a loosened state.
The cleansing air that you breathe reaches the tops and bottoms of your feet,
Cupping your ankles with comfort.
As each breath deepens and lengthens,
Your legs find a position that promotes the most satisfying heaviness.
Naturally breathing your way to a settled state of calmness,
Your hips and buttocks respond,
By allowing your legs to descend further.
Feeling very calm and at one with yourself,
Any stirring in your abdomen fades away,
Slowly letting go of any tense energy.
Becoming lighter in mind and heavier in body,
A sense of grounding can be felt.
Your shoulders sink,
Allowing your chest to become free to accept the refreshing air and replenishing oxygen of the night.
Relaxing automatically now,
Your arms descend downwards,
Giving up any unneeded energy.
Each wrist,
Hand and finger,
Loose as loose can be.
Your back and shoulder blades are now slowly adjusting to the calmness that you sense in this moment.
Each quiet and peaceful second makes your head heavier.
As you find the deep rest that you were looking for,
Your neck supports your head,
But in a softer state.
Everything is now quiet,
Still and predictable.
Each muscle is now soft,
Loose and comfortable.
You may sit or lie here for as long as you wish or perhaps even fall asleep.
But one thing is for sure,
You are at peace.
