Sleep deeply and relax deeper tonight with this long and relaxing paced bedtime talk down. As you lay your head down for the night, this meditation is long enough to help relieve overthinking, stress and tension. Bedtime should be a time for you and this is what this audio session is about. Indulge in the relaxation you should feel before drifting off to sleep.

Letting go of your day can sometimes be difficult,
With overplaying thoughts taking up most of your headspace.
Possibly you are worried about what tomorrow brings,
Or perhaps you are finding it hard to let go of the past.
Whatever is keeping you from sleeping,
Just know that you can find comfort in the darkest of places.
Where there is darkness,
There is light.
Breathe as naturally as you can,
Lose yourself in this experience that will lead to the most pleasant and refreshing deep sleep.
As you close your eyes,
Allow your mind to drift,
As the words you hear will soothe your every emotion down,
Down to a level that will help you to sleep.
With your eyes closed,
Your focus is now on the inside,
Your inner self.
The outside world at this moment matters not.
Much like the planets of our galaxy,
Which navigate with balance and rhythm to allow life to flourish,
Your inner universe will come into line,
Helping you to feel at one and at peace.
Beginning with the emotions inside that generate the most heat of tension and overplaying of thoughts,
You will be soothed down to a cooler state,
Where your mind will be calmer and your body more relaxed.
As you lay there,
You can imagine tension leaving your body,
As you exhale heat and replace it with a new,
Cooler,
Fresh breath of oxygen.
Beginning with the emotion of anger,
A tense sensation that can be felt in your shoulders and neck.
Allow those hardened areas to slowly dissolve inside your body,
To permeate into your lungs and out into the next breath that you exhale.
Feeling the slipstream of your breath,
Visualise that hot emotion being released with each and every consecutive breath.
Breathing up space in your mind and body,
Those problematic muscle areas are now able to automatically melt down and rest comfortably.
Feel a sense of peace in this moment and with every breath of anger escaping your body.
Settling down now,
Becoming more relaxed,
Will be easier from this moment on.
Your self worth has regained slightly as you now appreciate the self love that you show yourself in relaxing even more.
You are allowed to experience your own peace,
Your own feelings of relaxation and rest.
And more,
Descending slowly into a deeper state of calmness,
Your spiritual realm,
Transcending to your higher soul and self.
Be filled with peace,
Love and positive energy as you continue to drift further.
Stress can bring a feeling of overwhelm and anxiousness as your mind unrealistically makes a negative future that does not and probably will not emerge.
Those feelings that you experience are only there as an indicator to remind you that certain things need to be resolved,
Completed or left in the past.
This mainly comes from unfinished situations,
Seemingly preventing you from moving on,
Keeping you in a cycle of thought.
In your mind,
I would like you to imagine a formation of clouds,
Revolving slowly around in your thought process.
As you picture the clouds circling,
See all the negative things being gently drawn and carried away into the clouds.
Feeling calmer,
Sensing relief in a more obvious way now,
Each natural breath out slowly expels your stresses and anxieties along with the clouds.
You can picture the clouds exiting your mind,
In through your nose and out as you exhale,
Into the atmosphere,
Where they dissipate.
Your head and neck let go more now,
With the weight of wasted energy of your mind and out of your body.
Each muscle,
Softly and calmly descending more,
Into a position of comfort,
Rest and softness.
Any anxious feelings that remain,
Can now be pictured as hot rocks in your stomach and abdomen area.
Experience this heat for a moment,
Be present in feeling this reminder of wanting improvement in your life.
Here is the essence of the need to break through fears to get to something better,
Possibly something outside your comfort zone.
Let this emotion be for the moment,
As you visualise your own inner stream of calmness,
Washing those hot rocks of anxiety.
You are safe,
Comfortable and relaxed.
As the positive stream fills and reaches the glowing rocks,
They simmer and cool instantly,
Releasing a vapor of steam that rises to your lungs.
Feel your abdomen descend down and settle into a peaceful state of rest,
As the cooler sensation brings relief.
As you breathe,
The vapor of anxiousness is slowly pushed out on every exhale automatically.
There is no need to do anything,
Except relax.
Sensing down more and more,
Your head and neck rest back completely,
Allowing your jaw to release and your cheeks to soften.
Your breathing becomes easier,
With every deepened breath sending you heavier and calmer,
Slipping more into that peaceful state of sleep.
Any residual energy keeping you from going deeper can be felt in your hands and feet as energy.
Now imagine drawing out all negative energy from your toes to your head and sending that energy into the palms of your hands.
As you draw and feel that energy work its way up your body,
Your palms mould it into spherical shapes.
As each area is cleared of negativity,
Each muscle becomes balanced.
Sensing deeply into a hibernating state.
Those energy spheres,
Becoming bigger as you draw more and more energy out of your mind and body.
As the spheres glow in the palm of your hands,
You feel a sense of control,
A feeling of peace as you now hold in your hands that of which kept you from experiencing peace.
Release the spheres from the palms of your hands.
As you do,
Feel your whole body completely melt down,
Descending heavier onto the surface you lay upon.
Allow your mind to drift deeper into what you now feel inside,
Absorbing every peaceful floating sensation of gratitude and self love.
You are now drifting on your own calm and gentle energy.
There are no disruptions here,
You have a steady flow of positive energy to retire any thoughts and feelings.
Heading down deeper into the wants and needs of your own soul,
Feel at one with the universe as you transcend more and more.
Everything is understandable here,
You know who you are in this moment and feel the warmth of your own energy.
The empathy you show yourself in this moment is felt as a pureness of freedom,
Freedom to think what you want,
Freedom to explore yourself more.
Going deeper,
You share more of your inner self,
You feel what makes you happy,
What excites you and brings you peace.
Experience those positive emotions,
Allow them to fill you up and consume every part of you.
The cool and refreshing place of pleasing thoughts draws you further and deeper into yourself.
Floating lightly,
Relaxed and calmly,
You wander more and as you do,
You slip further into your subconscious mind,
A place where you will find sleep.
There is no rush,
You can explore this part of your mind in your own time,
A truly blissful place of relief.
Automatically breathing calmer breaths,
Sending your body down into a natural,
Diurnal state,
A state of sleep and of peace.
Wander more,
Absorb every muscle relaxing and mind calming sensation as you make your way to a good night's sleep.
Your breathing,
Now a smooth transition of inward and outward breaths,
Cycling round to hypnotise the most stubborn thoughts away.
You know,
Those thoughts that play on your mind can be likened to a rumour,
An untruth that either makes you doubt yourself,
Causes you worry or sends your mind into an unrealistic future outcome.
Its fair to say that they are there to guide you in some way,
And that is the key word,
Some.
Being aware of these indicating thoughts,
Just silently say in your mind that you know that they are there,
And you acknowledge them for stepping forward.
Now after thanking those thoughts,
They step back and disperse,
Clearing your mind to further appreciate this present moment.
Inside your body is your inner being,
The true you,
Or rather your consciousness.
As you picture the real you in your mind,
Imagine another figure standing close by.
This is your subconscious.
As you enter into a more sleepy,
Calmer state,
You see that your subconscious is holding a glowing object.
The object the figure is keeping hold of is a golden ticket.
You are given it,
And as you take it,
Your subconscious thanks you for acknowledging it a few moments ago.
By accepting the thoughts that you experienced,
You are rewarded by being given a golden ticket.
This ticket can be used to experience a relaxed,
Comfortable and most restful night's sleep.
To use this ticket,
Begin by allowing all and any energy that serves no purpose to filter through your body,
Up to your hands and into the ticket.
As you let go of anything holding you back from relaxing,
Feel your shoulders drift down,
Becoming free.
Notice the tops of your arms beginning to slide downwards,
Easing your back completely into a free and easy looseness.
As you send all negative energy out through your hands and into the ticket,
You begin to activate it.
Its gold glow gets brighter and more yellow,
Your arms now feeling heavier.
Drawing out all the thoughts,
Sensations and feelings that keep you from resting tonight,
Your feet,
Knees and thighs feel a gravitational and sleepy pull of the highest relief.
Glowing a gold glow of light,
The ticket you hold with your hands begins to dim slightly,
Settling down to a shine that brings a calming effect to your whole being.
As the golden ticket continues to glow,
The last remaining energy that is not needed in your mind and body washes out of your hands.
As you feel that energy drain out of every finger,
Your palms,
Wrists and each digit softens down,
Completely free of any tension.
With all the unneeded energy now out of you,
The ticket pauses and then shines bright once again.
This time,
Your senses detect something different.
The golden ticket emits soft sparkles of light,
Like dandelion feathers which float up and in front of you.
As the white fluff streams out of the ticket,
It floats a few feet above the ground and onwards into the distance.
The image of your subconscious self dissolves into the background.
As you breathe the relaxing breaths of a more sleepier state,
You yourself begin to slowly float.
With your hands now relaxed,
The ticket glides to the ground as the magic sparkles of a path is set in the air and off towards the horizon.
Floating upwards,
You begin to glide on the glittering current of the path,
Just below your feet.
Travelling along,
You are at peace,
Your breathing is steady and your legs dangle but a few feet off the ground,
Sliding in the direction of the sparkling new road laid down for you.
The ticket has transformed your negative energies from the sensations and feelings of everything holding you back into this journey that will eventually lead to sleep.
Your eyelids heavier and heavier,
Your whole body now relaxed.
You completely let go of any control to the pull of a very tranquil feeling.
Floating along,
Further and sleepier,
More relaxed,
You sense great comfort and peace in this moment.
Your only need at this time is to go deeper into every magnificent sensation of looseness and sleepiness.
Your want for this moment is freedom,
Freedom to float wherever you want,
To dream the most blissful dreams and to sleep the most natural and restful sleep.
Going deeper into this feeling,
Your mind now clears a path in its own right,
Where,
Perhaps,
You sense the gaps of silence as you drift off.
Every time you sense a feeling of slipping off to sleep,
You gently delve back in even deeper,
Knowing that its the best thing for you to do in this moment.
Continuing to float along this glimmering path,
Any background you see around begins to be out of focus,
Until it dissolves as you wander further into comfort.
You may perhaps feel a warm breeze as you travel above and along this shimmering path,
Which only sends your mind and body closer into this nights sleep.
Your surroundings are that of the energy of night,
A mixture of blue and purple colours that wash into each other in a very hypnotic way.
Drifting along,
Your awareness becomes vague in every sense.
Any sense of your body laying still only feels like a warmth of tranquility.
As you breathe each automatic breath,
The calmness that is brought into your lungs only relaxes you more deeply.
Each breath longer,
Which immerses your consciousness more into the dreamland of sleep.
Continuing further,
The streams of blues and purples whisk around your every being,
Consuming and satisfying your need for sleep.
You are but one with yourself now,
Sleeping inside yourself,
In your very own unique place of peace.
Everything is quiet and steady as you lay in the still of night.
You are now the epitome of night,
Sleeping in a peaceful dark space of silence,
Your mind now clear,
Your body heavy.
The further you travel along this magnetic road which has been laid down by the golden ticket,
The more immersed in sleep you become.
It is now an automatic continuation for you to follow the sleepy streams and the glittering path that ultimately leads to sleep.
Let go more with every breath now,
Let the path guide and pull you further closer to a good nights rest and the deepest sleep you have slept.
Now everything is quiet,
Calm and providing you with an environment to relax in.
Take a moment to feel the baseline of any sensations that you may be feeling.
As you sense with your mind any tingling,
Warmth or pain in any areas,
Just be aware of it in this moment.
Now you have a knowing of how your mind and body feels,
You will be more able to pick up on energy sensations as you scan across your body.
Laying still and calm,
I would like you to imagine that you,
The listening you,
Has your own body inside your physical body.
So as you listen,
Your energy body is hearing the words i am saying as your outside body rests.
You may see your energy body in different forms,
You may see a glowing aura or perhaps just get the sense of the energy itself.
Laying within your physical body with its eyes closed,
I would like the listening you to open your eyes.
Without moving,
Just take a look around with your subconscious eyes,
See your outer body rest as you proceed to take in what your eyes see.
Growing accustomed to this sensation,
Raise your arms so as to see them in front of you.
Calmly,
Slowly and quietly,
Let your subconscious body sit up,
You may feel a sensation or tingling as you sit up and stand overlooking your resting self.
As you look upon yourself,
You may be able to see hot spots of where pain is present or a sense of where those tense areas are.
Just take a moment to be aware.
Having acclimatised to your energy body,
In a moment you will begin the process of healing,
Scanning your body with your subconscious hands.
Starting at your feet and toes,
Bring your energy hands down and just above your skin.
Feel your physical body's energy flow.
Once you have a good indication of sensation,
Which will be felt by a tingling in your hands,
Scan your toes and feet for any heat or interruption in that flow.
You will know it when you feel it.
When you come across such sensation,
I would like you to imagine a white light coming from your hands as a healing energy which will counteract the disruption you may be feeling.
Your mind is calm,
Relaxed and safe as you begin to heal the flow within yourself.
As you continue to see the healing light from your hands to your feet and toes,
You begin to sense the change in energy to that of a soothing and comforting sensation.
Your toes will begin to feel more relaxed,
Softer and rested as you guide your own energy into a constant and refreshing flow.
Slowly moving your hands up to your shins and calf muscles,
Scanning your ankles along the way,
You may feel the subtle difference in energy flow.
Again,
You may see hot spots of troubled areas or fill them with your hands.
Take a moment to assess this area.
Seeing the healing white light from your hands as you continue to scan,
Reflow any areas you may feel that are giving you trouble.
As you begin the process of healing your ankles,
Shins and calf areas,
Let your legs relax more from the soothing and refreshing introduction of new energy that flows.
You may now feel tingling in your legs and feet from this healing process,
But this is completely normal,
You are safe,
Comfortable and relaxed.
Moving up to your knees and thighs,
Scanning along the way,
Your hands pick up any troubled areas.
Feel your own energy flow within as you grow accustomed to the new area.
You may sense a tangled feeling or one of tension as you begin healing with the white light from your hands,
Let your legs completely relax.
Feeling more and more,
Feeling softer as they descend downwards.
Feel your hands now moving slowly across your pelvic area and buttocks.
With this new area,
Let your hands get used to any new sensations of heat or tension as they scan.
Any areas where you feel a reflow of energy is needed,
Once again send down the healing white light from your hands.
As you relax and repair this area,
Feel your legs relax more and your ankles give way to your now heavily softened feet.
The more you feel the sensations of healing,
The more your body relaxes into a euphoric feeling.
Possibly experiencing a tingling or something similar from your pelvis area downwards,
Your body begins to let go more.
With your hands above your abdomen and lower back area,
You may sense any anxieties and possibly more tense muscles in this highly sensitive radius.
Sensing any hot spots of tension or interruption of flow,
Send down the white light to your stomach area,
This time letting it disperse itself to those other areas.
Anxiety,
Nervousness and tension are dissolved and reflowed into more positive energy within yourself.
Feel your stomach and back relax as the tingling new stream of relaxation takes effect.
Your stomach is soothed and calm,
Your back unwound and relaxed.
You now begin to feel much calmer and rested,
From your abdomen down to your toes.
Moving up to your chest area and under your arms,
Scan for tension or the need to move energy to new places.
Any stressful situations can accumulate around the heart and chest area,
Resulting in shallow breathing and tight muscles.
Rearranging this area of energy brings deeper and more relaxed breathing,
In a pattern that is comfortable and relieving.
Your back begins to let go as you breathe more efficiently,
As the white healing light from your hands reassures you along the way.
Your shoulders dip down as you now feel relaxed,
Calm and in a state of tranquility from chest to toe.
Your hands now above your neck area,
You scan for places to clear as you begin the therapeutic practice of sending healing white light.
Let your neck relax and breathe more easily as your energy flows,
Tingling along the way.
Your head begins to relax more now,
Letting go as your neck and throat area is cleared with positive energy.
Now start to scan your face,
From your jaw to the top of your forehead,
Including around your ears.
As you spot areas of needing this healing white light,
Your face relaxes,
Becoming softer as you continue to let go.
As your jaw relaxes,
Your breathing becomes easier and deeper,
As does your body,
Descending downwards more and more.
Now place your healing hands above your forehead and begin to feel any troubles on your mind.
You may see your thoughts swill around in front of you,
Or you may feel a tanglement of energy.
Begin to reflow as you have done with your body.
As you send down the healing white light to your mind,
Those thoughts,
Those worries,
Swirl around and begin to fade away.
Your hands feel the sense of relaxation from your whole body now,
As you just let go.
At peace,
As you look upon your physical body,
You hear the restful and soothing sound of relaxed breaths.
You can see your muscles relaxed and the calm look upon your face.
Your eyes are softly closed and every limb is limp from relief.
Look up the atmosphere you feel from your body within your energy body,
As you relax more.
In a moment,
You will be back inside your physical body,
As you begin to rest,
Relax and heal further.
Feeling relaxed in every way,
From your silent mind and unwound body,
You step back inside.
As you merge with your physical body once more,
Raise your arms and slowly let them drop into place.
As you do,
Your whole body relaxes,
Completely letting go.
Feeling healed your mind and body,
You may now be tired and in need of sleep,
Or perhaps relief has come over you to the point of just needing some quiet time to appreciate this feeling.
Whichever it may be,
Once you awake,
You will feel rested,
Relaxed,
Calm and refreshed.
Going a little deeper now,
Imagine the surface you lay upon is as soft as can be,
And you feel that you are the most comfortable you could ever be.
The soft mattress soothes your legs,
Your lumbar area,
Your back and head.
The soft sheets are warm,
Safe and smooth.
Everything you feel and sense in this moment is of a tranquil nature.
Each breath now becoming deeper as you relax more,
Into the softest bed you could ever get to sleep in.
But your mind and body once more,
Its desire to consume the rest and sleep it needs is immense.
In your mind,
As you lay still with your eyes closed,
Imagine rolling over,
Sliding down into another bed,
Below the one you lay.
As if in slow motion,
Floating on air,
Your body smoothly descends,
Very much like experiencing zero gravity.
Slowly leaving the edge of your mattress,
You glide down to another bed,
A few feet below.
The feeling you observe is a pleasant one,
Slowing your mind down further as you slowly and gently lower down.
A feeling of being content and a sensation of being lighter in body helps your muscles to let go.
Upon reaching the mattress below,
You hear the soft crumple of sheets as your body touches down.
Gently resting into position,
Your arms,
Legs,
Head and back relax heavily,
Your every breath now taking you closer to the edge of sleep.
Breathing deeply satisfying breaths of contentedness,
You slip once again into the sleep that invites you behind your eyelids.
Your eyelids becoming heavier with each simple and automatically relaxing breath.
As you continue to feel more peaceful inside,
Take your mind,
Your imagination,
To rolling over once more.
There is another softer mattress below for you to rest upon.
Resting over,
Leaving the edge of this mattress,
You leave your stresses and worries behind as you slowly begin to descend downwards.
You may notice a deeper breathing pattern forming,
And that is good.
It means that you are truly relaxing and beginning to drift off.
The sensations and clearness you feel in this moment are ever so relaxing,
You want more.
And as you float down to the next mattress,
You can see that the pillows,
The sheets and the mattress itself is softer,
Fuller and more plump than the last.
Upon reaching this generously sleep filled inducing bed,
You sink slowly and deeply into a more relaxing and sleepy position.
Almost feeling unable to move,
You slip and drift,
Drift and slip further into sleep.
This time not quite knowing whether you are asleep or awake,
Or if it's your imagination or reality.
Whatever you see and feel in this moment is peaceful and relaxing.
There is no need to think anymore as you glide more and more into sleep,
Your muscles loose,
Your mind clear.
Both of your feet now resting heavy,
Weighing down your ankles,
Which help your legs rest into a most comfortable position.
As you begin to drift off further,
Your mind and imagination rolls over once more.
Every time you begin to roll,
You glide silently into a more sleepier state,
Consumed completely by what you feel and sense,
Experience and absorb.
You leave the edge of this comfy bed,
Rolling down to another.
Then as if floating in space,
You feel your side peel away from the mattress as you descend down to a deeper state of consciousness.
Your deeper state of sleepiness allows your head and neck to rest back,
Loosening completely into bliss.
Slowly floating down,
Descending to a bed that is more comfortable than the last,
Your legs,
Feet and ankles heavily sink further than they ever have.
As you let go more and more,
Your head and neck sinks deeply,
Your consciousness absorbing and automatically resting down for the night.
Your whole body resists no more.
As you lay there,
You feel the pull of gravity as you sink more into the deep,
Comfortable mattress that you now find yourself laying upon.
Tucked up once more,
You are safe,
Warm and very content.
As you come to the resting point of drifting off more,
Your awareness of everything fades out.
Only seeing sleep as the only option at this time.
Sinking deeply and calmly,
Your mind and imagination,
Your consciousness and subconscious rolls once more,
Leaving this soft,
Sleep inducing bed for another.
Sliding down to sleep more deeply,
This time,
Your shoulders,
Arms,
Elbows,
Wrists,
Hands and fingers let go completely of the last remaining tension.
Gently descending,
You float on your own positive sensations of peace.
Your concern at this moment is only for sleep,
Of which is very easy in this blissful state that you now find yourself in.
Gliding down,
Floating more,
You reach the next mattress,
A bed that is filled so deeply and softer than any other.
You sink into it with ease,
Again as if in slow motion,
Your body feels like it is floating on air,
As it deflates the air caught in the mattress.
The touch of the warm soft sheets sends you further into a deeply peaceful silence of stillness.
Your body basks in the comfort that it is now provided with,
Your mind content in every way.
Every part of you,
Reassuringly relaxing down for the night,
Gliding into sleep.
Your eyelids ever so heavy in this moment,
Your face muscles melting downwards as you relax more and more.
As you breathe deeper and longer breaths of silent contentment,
Your every need is met.
From the clearing of your mind to dreaming of positive dreams,
From restful muscles to drifting more into this peaceful atmosphere in your mind.
The feeling of self love is felt within the deepest parts of you,
Where perhaps you feel a warmth around your heart area.
The warmth you feel is imagined in your mind as you begin to dream.
Above the soft,
Deeply plush bed in which you lay is the sun of your own self love.
It is a powerful but dim warm glow,
A little distance away from you.
Under its rays and warmth,
You feel every positive sensation of peace,
Which tends to your inner self.
It reinvigorates your positivity,
Your body energy,
Your optimism,
Your zeal for life.
Your body now sleeps a heavy sleep,
Your mind rests down with a clear focus on regeneration.
As you absorb the positivity from your self love sun,
You rest further in a reassuring and safe state of harmony.
From head to toe,
You feel the warmth of your own inner energy.
Your toes loosen,
Your feet unwind,
Your ankles unlock and your legs let go.
Each breath now almost invisible to your conscious mind as you slide further into sleep.
Every now and then,
You may become aware that you are sleeping,
But as soon as you notice,
You glide back,
Further and more deeply into that contented sleep state.
From your knees warming your thighs,
Your hips,
Lower back and pelvis rest heavily and comfortably,
Your mind becoming less aware of anything but the sleep that you now experience.
As your abdomen becomes still and silent in nature,
Your rib cage widens with the automatically relaxing breaths that become deeper,
The more you float into sleep.
With each and every deeper breath,
Your lungs fill generously,
Helping your shoulders and the tops of your arms to slide down.
Melting more and more,
Your arms completely let go,
Your wrists limply hinge your hands down to the mattress,
Where your fingers gently splay to rest.
Loosely relaxing more and sleeping heavier,
Your neck persuades your head to descend heavily onto the plush pillow below.
No more thinking is needed at this time,
Your awareness shifts to deeper feelings of content,
Warmth and sleep.
With your jaw widening,
Your lips,
Cheeks and upper lip melts to accommodate into a positive and relaxing posture.
Your eyelids heavily closed as you sleep heavily behind them,
Your mind silent.
As you rest here under your sun of self love,
You drift deeper,
Perhaps imagining more descending steps of soft mattresses.
You are safe,
Warm and content,
You regenerate as you sleep,
Sleeping heavily and sleeping blissfully.
All you have to do now is sleep and just let go.

Amazing, I nodded off fairly quickly which is normal for me however I then slept for a solid 8 hours which never happens. Iβm lucky to get 5 or 6 hours sleep as a rule. Thank you!
