Welcome to this meditation for easing into a restful state.
This meditation is designed for you to find rest and restoration,
Giving gratitude to your body for all the wonderful work it has done today.
With this gratitude we will tell our body that its work is done and now it can rest.
As you follow along with this meditation,
If your focus drifts away,
Allow it to do so,
Letting your own body-mind guide,
Remembering that there is no way to do this meditation wrong.
This meditation can be done lying down in bed or in any other comfortable place where your body can let go of all of its weight.
Take a few moments now to get really comfortable.
Make sure you are warm,
The pillows are fluffy enough,
Maybe you want to bring a pillow underneath your knees,
Maybe you want to wiggle around a little bit.
Again,
There is no way to get this wrong.
Listen to your body and find that sweet spot.
If you are already in a comfortable position,
Connect with the breath and if you are still settling in,
Feel free to take your time.

Now,
In this comfortable place,
Let's begin.
We will start using our breath to settle even deeper.
So,
Take a deep exhale,
Allow the air to come out without forcing and as you inhale,
Let's inhale for 4,

Hold the breath in and exhale for 4,

Hold the breath in and exhale for 4,

Do a few more at your own rhythm,
Allowing your mind and your attention to be fully immersed on the breath and the breath count.
Next time you exhale,
Let go of the count and just feel into your body,
Allowing the weight of your body to soften a little bit more down into the bed with the surface that you're lying down on.
We're going to take our attention to the top of the head,
The forehead,
The back of the skull.
Allow the breath to naturally keep coming in and out with your attention on these areas and just set your intention so that your forehead,
Top of the head,
Back of the skull relax deeper into the surface.
Feeling into the eyebrows,
The eyeballs,
The cheekbones,
The cheeks,
The nose,
The lips and the teeth.
Allowing all of these areas to soften and release their weight even deeper down into the surface that you're on.
Feeling into our upper jaw,
Our lower jaw.
Feeling into our ears,
Softening the weight down.
Feeling into the neck,
The throat,
The collarbones and shoulder blades and shoulders.
Just relaxing,
Allowing the weight of our shoulders and collarbones and shoulder blades to relax deeper into the surface that you're on.
Allowing both of the biceps,
The elbows,
The forearms and wrists,
The hands and the fingers just melt down deeper into the mattress.
Allowing all of your chest,
Your upper back,
The ribs to loosen their weight down into the mattress.
All of your upper,
Middle back,
Lower back softens and relaxes even more into that surface that you're on.
All of your belly and your organs take advantage of the softening and give all of their weight further down into the mattress.
Allowing the hips to release their weight down,
The buttocks,
The hip ball,
The hip joints,
Just release all of their weight down into the mattress.
Allowing your thighs to soften,
The muscles to melt a little bit deeper.
Allowing both of your knees to relax,
To let go.
Allowing your calves and shins,
Both of your ankles and heels and feet and toes soften down into the mattress.
All of your body relaxing its weight down.
Allow your attention to melt to the base of your heart.
All your attention is now resting on the base of your heart.
Feel your body resting and breathing from this center point to the base of your heart.
From this space,
Imagine,
Sense,
Feel a tunnel of light coming down from the back of the base of the heart and allow this tunnel to stretch into the bed or surface that you're lying down on,
Into the floor of the space that you're in.
Allowing this channel to drop deeper into the foundations of the building and to go even deeper down into the earth,
Into this first wide layer of soil,
Roots and stones.
Allowing this channel of light to traverse even deeper into this first wide layer of soil,
Roots and stones.
And as it goes deeper,
Allow it to cross layers of minerals and stones and layers of water and sand.
Just allow it to stretch even deeper down,
Passing through the layers closer to the core of the earth and coming into the center of the earth.
Connecting with the base of the heart of the earth.
Feel this channel of the base of your heart connecting with the heart of the earth.
And for a few moments just breathe enjoying,
Relaxing and savoring into this connection.
From this space,
Let's take a moment to bless the earth and all of her being.
Sending her and all of her beings our gratitude,
Our love,
Our loving awareness.
From this space of gratitude,
Let's ask the earth to fill this channel of energy with her energy,
To take us into the highest plane of creation.
And observe this channel being filled with the earth energy.
And allowing this earth energy to come up through the layers closer from the heart of the earth.
Coming up through the layers closer to the core of the earth.
Observe this channel being filled with the earth energy.
Observing the earth energy crossing the layers of sand and water,
Of stones and minerals.
Observe the earth energy crossing this wide layer of soil,
Roots and stone.
And allow it to come closer to the foundations of the space that you're in.
And allow it to come into your body through every single part of your body that's touching the surface.
Allowing this earth energy to fill your whole body and rest in every single cell of your body.
Come back to feel the base of your heart.
Feeling the earth energy vibrating in the base of your heart.
And allow another channel to be created.
Allowing this channel to travel up from the base of your heart,
Into the throat,
To the center of your head.
And coming out to the crown of your head.
Allowing this channel to keep stretching further and further up,
Crossing the roof,
Further away into the sky.
The earth's atmosphere.
The solar system.
The Milky Way.
Into the universe.
And into this plane of pearly,
Purely white light.
Connecting into this plane of creator of all that is,
With purely pearly white light.
Merging into this field of creator of all that is.
Giving our gratitude,
Our love to creator of all that is,
To all of life.
Let's allow this energy to come down this channel,
Crossing all planes of creation,
Coming back through the galaxy,
Our solar system,
Into the earth's atmosphere,
Through the sky,
Through the roof,
Back into the crown of the head and into the base of your heart.
Creator's energy resting and nesting in the base of your heart.
And we're going to begin rotating these energies through all of the body.
So take your attention to your left thumb,
Left index finger,
Left middle finger,
Left ring finger and left pinky finger.
Allowing this energy to come into the palm of your hand,
The top of your left hand,
Your left wrist,
Left forearm,
Left elbow,
Left top of your arm,
And your left shoulder,
Armpit and left shoulder blade.
All of your left arm is now filled with the energy of creator of all that is.
With this energy,
Giving gratitude to our left hand,
Our left arm,
Our left elbow and shoulder,
Giving gratitude to all the muscles and bones and veins and arteries,
To all of the tissues of our left arm.
Mentally saying thank you left arm for the amazing work you have done today.
Thank you for everything you have done.
Now you can rest.
There's nothing more for you to do today except rest and restore.
Allowing this energy to come into the left side of your chest,
The left side of your waist,
And the left side of your hip.
Sensing,
Feeling,
Visualizing the whole left side of your torso.
Vibrating with this energy of creator of all that is.
Giving gratitude to your left chest,
To your heart,
To your left lung for all the beautiful work they have done today.
Giving gratitude to all the muscles of your left torso,
Your left waist,
All the bones and ribs,
To the left hip,
Left side of your sacrum.
Just mentally tell them thank you so much for the amazing work you have done today.
All you have to do now is rest and restore.

Allowing this energy of creator to come into the center of your pelvic wall,
Your bladder,
Your sexual organs.
Allowing this energy to come into the right hip,
Up to the right waist,
And up to the right side of your chest.
All the right side of your torso is vibrating now with that energy of creator of all that is.
Giving gratitude to our bladder,
To our organs,
To all the muscles of the right hip,
Right waist and right chest for the amazing job they have done today.
Giving gratitude for our right side of the sacrum,
The right ribs,
Our right lung.
Just mentally saying thank you for the amazing work you have done today.
Now the only thing you need to do is to rest and restore.
Feeling your whole torso and organs,
All your digestive organs vibrating and being nourished by the energy of creator of all that is.
Mentally saying,
All of my organs,
Thank you for the beautiful work you have done today and you do every single moment.
Right now you can rest and restore.
Receiving all this beautiful light of creator.

Feeling all of your spine filled and vibrating with this energy of creator of all that is.
Giving gratitude to every single one of your vertebrae,
The discs in between your vertebrae.

Right armpit,

Allowing this energy and your attention to go into the right upper arm,

Allowing the energy of creator of all that is to come up to the base of your skull,
Into your ears,
The back of your head,
The top of your head and into the brain.
All of your skull is now filled and vibrating with the energy of creator of all that is.

Easing into slower brainwaves and allowing the energy of creator of all that is to melt through your forehead into your eyes and cheeks,
