Hello and welcome to this new day together.

We're going to start not by rushing but by taking a pause into gratitude.

Let's begin by closing the eyes gently.

No special posture needed,

Just be as you are.

Gently let the spine soften,

The shoulders relax down,

The jaw relax.

Allow all the weight of your body to relax deeper into the earth.

And start observing the breath.

There's no need to change it,

Just notice it.

Breathe in,

Noticing the air and gently exhale.

Again,

Just cultivating presence with the breath.

Now slowly bring your awareness,

Your attention into your body.

Just feel the space that you are in.

Feel the weight of your body on the bed or the cushion.

Feel how the earth beneath you is holding the weight of your body.

Feel the support of the earth beneath you.

Rub the palms of the hands together creating heat.

Bring both hands to your chest and as you inhale quietly repeat to yourself,

Thank you for this breath.

Your next exhale,

Repeat to yourself,

Thank you for this day.

As you inhale again repeat,

Thank you for this breath.

And as you exhale one more time repeat,

Thank you for this day.

Now let's bring the mind to three simple things you are grateful for.

They don't have to be big.

It could be you're grateful for the warmth of your blanket or for the sound of a bird.

It might be that you're grateful for a person.

Maybe you're grateful about your animal,

Your pet.

Just take a moment to name three simple basic things you're grateful for.

And with these three things in mind allow the energy of gratitude to start to spread into your whole body.

Noticing the feelings that it might bring to your chest,

To your eyes,

To your belly.

Allowing your inner landscape to be painted with this feeling of gratitude and appreciation.

Remembering that today doesn't have to be perfect.

It only has to be lived.

Taking one more breath in,

Inhale.

And open the eyes as you prepare to meet the day carrying this feeling of gratitude with you.

Taking a moment to give gratitude to yourself for taking this time and connecting with this energy so you can step into the world vibrating and spreading the energy of gratefulness and gratitude.

Thank you so much for sharing this moment.

May your day unfold with ease,

Beauty and love.
