Welcome to this meditation called Remembering You.
This specific meditation is for those moments in your life where you feel like you've forgotten who you are at the core of your soul.
Where you just want to come home to what really matters to you,
What ignites the joy within you.
And remember who you are at the core of your being.
Sometimes we run around and we are so many things to so many people.
We become the parent,
The friend,
The teammate.
And sometimes we just want to shed those titles,
Put down the mask.
And just remember who we truly are and what truly matters.
Strip back to that feeling of being centered within.
So let's go on this journey together now.
Get comfortable and close your eyes.
I will guide you.
We're going to start by taking three deep breaths in all the way down into your belly.
In through the nose and out through the mouth.
As you exhale,
Letting go of all of the stuff that's not serving you in this moment.
Other people's expectations.
Any pressure here,
Just exhale it away.
This is your time for you to go within.
To remember who you are.
To nurture you.
And when you're ready,
You can allow the breath to simply flow in and out of the nose.
I'll mind the time for you.
And you'll hear the sound of the bell at the end of the practice.
Just allowing your mind and body to connect fully here.
As you start to follow that breath all the way down through your body.
As if you were breathing in calmness.
Feeling that calmness just flowing through the entire body.
Right down to the soles of your feet.
What would it feel like in this moment if you were to just put down the titles.
The different masks that you wear in your life.
Whether you are a colleague,
A CEO,
A parent,
A friend.
For now just allow yourself to be you.
To connect with the beauty and the wisdom within you.
Who you truly are,
The core of your being.
Just put it all down.
Enjoy the simplicity of this practice.
We're going to focus on a few questions.
Those questions are going to help you,
Guide you further within.
And come home to you.
Starting with what matters to me.
Allowing answers to appear now or later.
We're just inquiring here.
Peeling back the layers.
Coming home to yourself.
What really matters to me.
Feeling each breath guiding you deeper and deeper into relaxation.
Feeling fully present here with your thoughts.
Trusting the breath to guide you into stillness within.
Feeling more and more centered,
More and more you.
If you were to walk into a space now and meet your true self.
Imagine that.
What would you see?
What would you see?
What would you be aware of?
Here as you connect with your true inner self.
Not who others expect you to be or think you are.
But you,
Your true self.
You ask yourself,
Who am I?
And let the answers appear whenever they're ready.
Now or later.
Both equally fine.
And when my voice falls away,
You just keep asking yourself those questions.
Who am I?
Who am I?
What matters most to my true self?
What is the quality of myself I'm becoming aware of here?
What is the quality of my true self?
What did I come here to do?
What did I come here to do?
What did I come here to do?
How can I bring more of my true self into my day to day life?
Just imagine.
How would that feel?
How would that look?
What is one thing you're realizing here and you're meeting with your true self?
That you want to bring with you into your life from today.
That maybe you had forgotten about yourself.
What did you remember about yourself?
Maybe you remembered what truly ignites your passion within.
What ignites the playfulness.
Your creativity.
Love.
Just notice there's no right and wrong here.
There just is.
You remembering you.
Remembering what you need.
Remembering what you want.
Remembering what you can offer.
You're here and you're meeting with your true self.
Remembering the words.
I am whole and complete.
And always enough.
Maybe you can go ahead and take a deep breath in sealing this meditation.
Maybe spending a moment in gratitude.
For giving yourself this opportunity here today to come home.
To you.
To remembering you.
To remember what a special,
Beautiful,
Unique human being you are.
And that you get to choose what you bring with you from your meeting with your true self today.
