Welcome to a de-stress switching off meditation called through the eyes of a cat.
So please get really comfortable,
Get curled up in fact,
Get comfy and close your eyes.
And take a nice deep breath in.
Exhale,
Fully out.
Let's begin.
Through the eyes of a cat.
Animals are a wonderful tonic,
Are they not?
And to experience an understanding of them and benefit through a mind journey.
Allowing your energies to be lifted and ridding stress.
By exploring through the eyes of the faithful puddy cat,
The house pet,
That still remains a little independent.
Get relaxed quickly and think of a desired cat.
A cat you most definitely love.
Is it black as the night?
Is it the big ginger tom?
There are so many and we are spoilt for choice.
So pick a desired image and place it in the head and place it in your heart.
All animals are really quite perfect,
Both visually and physically,
So breathe in perfection.
And breathe in a body that is supremely fit and full of energy.
For a cat can stretch like a rubber band.
Feel all those muscles anticipating a full stretch.
And constantly ready to pounce,
To jump,
To reach amazing heights.
And wonderful type rope walkers upon any wall or fence.
Fitting into many little doors and holes and anything is truly on access for the cat.
Sunshine a wonderful tonic and how the cat loves to sunbathe in all positions possible.
Rolling in the grass.
Laying under the apple tree.
Making a straw like bed to rest.
But the ears are always pricked up and turn like antennas.
Cleaning oneself for no help is needed.
And owning a fabulous coat that everyone loves to touch and stroke.
A body equipped also for the night,
A magical time under moonshine.
And a sky full of stars.
When everyone has gone to bed,
Even the dog,
It is so quiet.
And the cat explores,
Walks and jumps and climbs and pushes through every nook and cranny.
Has been in everyone's garden through a silent walk.
A silent cool yet slightly warm night.
With night vision.
Night vision seeing all that moves and possibly a few mischievous robbers.
But the first to see the morning star.
The first to see the sun begin its begin.
And hear the birds that first note.
Sound of music hits the air.
A noisy awakening but beautiful.
For daylight brings a safety of comfort and a time to eat soon.
Aware of the weather,
The seasons and can smell a storm on the breeze hours before it arrives.
Has many human friends and I'll give them a new name with a treat or a stroke or a cuddle.
A fantastic companion for all ages of humans.
For they lay so sweet upon your lap.
And there is no need to walk me.
For I am independent and have far more fun doing that.
I keep my face of sweetness and always always look so serene.
For I am a thing of beauty.
This is me the cat.
Thank you.
So begin to open your eyes.
Eyes wide open.
Have a good good stretch.
Back in the here and now.
